The damage they did helps their candidates, while it hurts any opposition due to the ease with which the GOP can back Extremists on the Left to pull votes from more Reasonable Candidates who could eventually dismantle everything the GOP has done. The GOP would then be faced with the choice of accepting that defeat and being a small minority party for at least a Generation (until the “Culture Warriors” of the Evangelical variety all were removed from the Political class… AND their Policies), or total annihilation and extinction as a Political Party (I would be fine with either, even if the latter is kind of sad to think of). But they have known since 1992 that the Policies they push both do not work, and that they are massively unpopular with the Majority of the Public. So instead of changing Policy Preferences, they rigged the Electorate so they might keep power with a Minority of that Electorate. So Ethical and Moral.

Option 1 10% of the tax due Option 2 10% of income Option 3 Donating both options 1 and 2 This melted all the inflation. It got rid of all the high tariffs Trump set up, and quickly refunded all the all the money to the government in order to keep paying government bills on time.

My brother has the same mental condition Trump has and it took my family 52 years to realize something was wrong. I began to open my eyes when my brother burned my house down because he was jealous of me getting rent from it. Then he and his wife moved in with my mother and she died of malnutrition. Next, he and his wife moved in with his mother in law and she died from neglect. My brother re wrote the mother in law's will, giving them the entire estate and giving her brothers nothing. My brother's daughter and step sons worked every summer in my brother's farm fields and they thought their pay was going into a special bank account called, "their college fund". When they graduated High School, there was no bank account. My brother had gotten into the habit of driving 270 miles to Reno almost every weekend of football season to gamble. He lost the family farms and creditors had to write off a ton of money. The boys joined the military, learned job skills and are doing very well. The daughter is doing well also. A narcissist is a master at making himself look like the most wonderful, kind, caring person in the world while he secretly harms the people around him every chance he gets. When people say Trump throws everyone under the bus they are describing the crimes he committed as President and the evil he did as a businessman. It looks like he tried to cheat every person he ever did business with. Every time a business like Trump Casinos fails, the investors lose everything and Trump loses nothing. Trump hires contractors for construction projects and refuses to pay the contract price. When the contractor threatens to get a lawyer, Trump says, "Go ahead - My lawyers will keep your lawyers in court for years. Trump controls his MAGA Congressmen like they are cult zombies. They think they have to lie and cheat for him to stay elected. Trump is also a sociopath, and as such he is his world and other people have no value. If January 6 had turned into a civil war and killed millions of people Trump would have felt absolutely no remorse because those people are unimportant. Only Trump is important. We do not know if Trump sold Top Secret military Secrets but it is a real worry because Trump does not care about country - He only cares about Trump.

Thank you for your story about your brother. Indeed this is the accurate and unfortunately too common description of the damage caused by a malignant narcissistic sociopath. People don't really realize that there are quite a few people like that in society (most serial killers or rapists are perfect examples). They are dangerous people but this danger culminates when they gain the ultimate power of governing a whole country. Before Trump, there were many examples (Duvallier in Haiti, Pinochet in Chili, Idi Amin Dada in Ouganda, Franco in Spain, Mussolini in Italy and the most infamous one of the 20th century: Hitler). Most religious cult leaders are also great examples (Jim Jones, David Koresch, David Berg, Charles Mansion, Aum Shinrikyo). The most common denominators are: being able to use very simplistic rethoric repetitively, playing on the fears and frustrations of the most vulnerable and unstable people in society and using violence as a mean to achieve their goals. At least your brother never became President of the USA, but unfortunately Trump did.
