How far out to sea do you need to get snapper? I’m walking out 10 meters to sea and casting about 45 to 55 meters so my total cast will be 55 to 65 meters. And I’m only catching kahawai

Go on a charter,the little red boat's launching out of westhaven are quite good value for the price,there ain't no more big boy's in the Auckland harbour they know to stay away further out in the deep
