I’ve just started watching your videos over the last couple of months and I’m about to head to Moreton island with my daughters (because of you) - you are a natural video maker and everyone of the videos I’ve watched has been, enjoyable, honest and well produced. So thanks for making great content, I really appreciate it.

Have you had a look at the DJI Osmo Action? I've used the Sony FDR-X 3000 before, but have now decided to switch to the DJI Osmo Action. Great little camera and cheaper than the go pro's.

@explorewithmarcus3 жыл бұрын
@@NasTimeAdventures It's real cool with the screen on the front and rear, so you can always frame the shot. Can shoot 4K60 and 1080p240. And you have the custom quick shots you can setup, which makes switching from 4k24 to 4k60 or 1080p120 a breeze. Hit quick shot, select your profile and boom your away shooting. Rocksteady is also very good. I'm very happy.

Thanks for this video Tyler, I am interested in what gear you use. One thing you didn't mention is whether you have a rough script of what you plan to talk about, or do you just wing it? The bloopers make me think you're winging it 😁

Hi Tyler, Love your content, long time watcher here. Just curious as starting to dable in filmography and photography, what resolution do you record in and do you down size in post processing, and how do you find the image quality afterwards on youtube? Love the vides mate, have even gone back to your first ones and started watching from there.

It's funny, I don't make KZbin videos but I have basically the same stuff just different brand of camera and lenses. What blows people away is how much my lenses cost and im not making money from using them haha. It's a fun but expensive hobby. Ally camera gear is probably worth close to what my vehicle is worth haha

When I use phone to take photos and videos of my 4wd and track driving, it doesn't look anywhere near reality. No depth or 3d perception. Very difficult to find time to edit footage All these look too far advanced while managing pack/ unpack, waste, fuel, weight and dust in track. How do you manage dust against your camera equipment?
@TylerThompson903 жыл бұрын
Never really have any problems with dust to be honest mate, they get bits on them here and there but just clean them/wipe down at the end of every day

We use a handful of gopros really and an Sony A6 and when you compare quality between the two it's another world and the A6 doesn't have any vid stabilisation so can't use it a lot. I am interested in the A7C so it's good to know you use that as your main and I've watched a hell of a lot of your videos and love the look. Thanks for uploading this video.

@TylerThompson903 жыл бұрын
Hey mate, shoot in 1080 on the main camera
@NasTimeAdventures3 жыл бұрын
Good question. I tried recording in 4k but chews up the SD card too quick for my liking. A photographer mate suggested I film in 2.7k @60fps for some of my footage. It's a good compromise that doesn't take too much space and still allows me to zoom in or slow the footage down. Just something to consider. Good luck guys.
