I've been using a Vango Orava 600 xl for 4 years now...size is great but putting it up is a strain so looking at Vango again, air and polycotton .

You're a top guy Mike thanks for all your help and advice been watching your vids from 2017 so much so I didn't even have to read the instructions when I set up my vango solace TC 400 for the first time (Easter 2018) I'm down your way this weekend so want to have a look a your display I'm after an air tent that has a fully sewn in ground sheet from arse to tit any brand will do I'll pick your brain when I get down there one question though are you 6 foot 2 or 6 foot 3 😉😀👍❤

Unfortunately I haven’t, but personally from a value for money side of things I think the Ventanas has all the functionality of the Anantara but with a side pod and at a cheaper price. So I would say that is the better buy of the two.

Thanks for this information. At this time I have a Vango tent with storm straps but I a issue with them as when it’s windy they seem to resonate in the wind which becomes very loud. Do you have any advice to reduce this. Many thanks.

That's just how polyester tents work. Maybe go for a polycotton tent if you want a quieter tent.

You can minimise this by putting a twist in the strap, so one 180 degree twist

@@tommieboi707 This ventanas is the tc (technical cotton) one, but its the flat straps flapping that make a resonating noise, not the tent ☺️. I have it, but the twist idea suggested sounds good 👌.
