Yara I’m so sorry you had a negative encounter with Kenyan police. I’m hearing this over and over again from tourist visiting African countries. You were so gracious and nice and did not try to speak negatively of the police encounter. I don’t think I could be so gracious. I am sick and tried of the fact that black people can’t seem to go anywhere without encountering some kinda BS. I’m American of African descent AND this is one reason why I am unwilling to visit African countries. I already deal with racial profiling and police harassment in the US.
