Adrenaline is probably one of the most useful Vita homebrew apps. It emulates the entire PSP on the Vita! Apart from the cool nostalgia of having the XMB back, it also runs PSP games and PS1 games better than any Vita emulators! Also, Moonlight allows you to stream your PC games on your Vita like Remote Play

I still have my day 1 Vita and still have no critical issues with it. The non critical issues are OLED blotches and battery showing some wear and tear. I dont think I'll ever get rid of this unit. Very good gaming device. It'll pair well with the Steam Deck once I get to order mine in Q3.

i modded my original oled vita last year and have started collecting them and the tv counterparts and modding them all. i mean you can have san andreas, half life, max payne and bully on them! its truly amazing!! i prefer the sleek 2000 model tho as no blotches to worry about and i like the smaller form, and the lack of need for proprietary charging cables, honestly the oled isnt worth it in my opinion

Bro the aqua blue is so beautiful. I have one too. I want to keep it but it only has a 128gb micro sd card or something. It's not little, but not as much as the 256gb micro sd card I have on another one, the red one. Does anybody know how to upgrade micro sd cards for the ps vita? I want to upgrade my aqua blue one from 128gb to at least 256gb. Can I go larger than 256gb? I have installed custom firmware on my 3ds so I know how to hack it and upgrade it's micro sd card. Is it the same? All i have to do is copy all the contents of one micro sd card to another Edit: sorry I forgot to mention that both of them are hacked. When you turn it on it is already in henkaku. You don't need to activate it manually

Why dont you just use adrenaline for emulating PSP? It forces the vita to run its stock psp emulator and it plays them flawlessly. Note, the vita also plays ps1 games through adrenaline as well without the need for a third party emulator.

I also have a hacked vita. I really wanted one back when they first came out but was really turned off of buying it because of the memory card prices. I finally bought a Japanese vita on eBay for about $100 and got an sd2vita. I hacked it and change the region to the US where I live.

Bought a ps vita 1000 for about 100$ in brooklyn the other day its like a ruby red and pretty sure its a JP one since the O and X are reverse and it looks so nice and shiny. My friend hacked it for me and I cannot stop playing it all I do is play gundam or fighting games on it. It also gave me access to great indies I missed during middleschool and hs like hotline miami. Cannot recommend enough getting a jailbroken vita today

Vita games did not run well on their own system. But we still accepted it because it gave us PS3 like graphics on the go and people really like the system it self.

Also had a problem with my vita not turning on but charges and when it’s charging it’ll be solid orange for a while then turn off and when I try to turn it on it didn’t work if you’re having this problem I just switch the usb cable to a slim flat cord and left it on my ps5 it’s blinking orange so hopefully it works after 2 hours

Quick question: Can I still play online and do remote play with a modded PS Vita ? I’m about to buy one and the only affordable options locally are either a bone stock 2k (console only without a box) or a modded 2k with a cable. And no. While there’s enough 1k vita to go around, none of them are affordable for me at all. Most are 80%-90% close to price of a brand new one and that’s only a 50$ lesser than a new Switch.

I think N3DXL beat ps vita when come to playing Nes, Snes, gba, ds, gb/gbc, turbografx 16, & genesis. Vita is great for vita, ps1, psp, Mane, & 50% of N64 libary. Both handheld are my top two favorite game systems of all time.

as someone who owns both modded consoles, I can say that the vita exceeds the N3DS's emulation performance by far. On 3DS the only way to get flawless emulation, is if the game has been released on virtual console. Every standalone emulator or even RetroArch on the 3DS perform worse.

Hi, I have a hacked Vita, an Enso Ex. After 3 days trying, I finally got RetroArch to run. I'm using a 64GB Vita memory which I bought a long time ago. My memory is almost full so now I need to install Sd2vita to be able to get more games. One question, is it possible for me to run on both memory cards say sd2vita for vita and psp games and vita memory card for retro games.

Yo bud! I do have a hacked Vita of my own. I use stand alone emulators, as of right now, and haven’t dove into Retroarch just yet, as getting it to even boot is proving to be an issue on my setup. To be brief, I found the emulation to be far better than I expected. PSP & PS1 emulate perfectly, as the Vita plays those natively. Use the Adrenaline app. It turns your Vita into a PSP. No joke, it straight up just becomes a PSP while in the app. It’s pretty neat. I found that NES, SNES, Genesis, GB, GBC, & GBA all run very well too but with some issues. For example, Mario RPG & Yoshi’s Island for SNES don’t work. Some GBA audio crackles, but generally all games play fine with zero issue. I use mGBA to run GB/GBC/GBA and find it works very very well. I’ve barely played the other consoles on my Vita so their app’s names are escaping me right now. N64 is very shotty. I have compiled a list of games that run well enough to play and it’s about 30 games long maybe? But that includes some games that may glitch in ways you aren’t cool with. Example Ocarina of Time has several skybox and ground texture glitches. They’re pretty constant.

@@Rockinsilver Yes, once you hack your Vita, you’re able to download pretty much any Vita game if you use “PKGj”, even games that have since been delisted like Amazing Spider-Man. It even allows you to download DLCs for every game (I.e. all of the pinball tables for Zen Pinball 2)

It requires more setup, but you certainly can. The Vita can emulate a lot of systems, up to the PSP. Similarly to a lot of Anbernic devices.

hey guys, do you sync your trophies with psn on your hacked ps vita ? I just bought a clean ps vita and would like to hack it for a unlimited ton of fun but still would like to sync all the trophies i achieve during my playing time. I would not use a trophyhack as I am not a platinum hunter at any cost. I've read a couple of post on reddit. Some are from 2016. and even then it was not a big problem to sync trophies. Like Sony didnt really cared about that.
