Awesome video Monty. This is THE BEST video I've seen explaining what you can sow and importantly why. That's something that's lacking in most of these videos, no explanation of what you have to think about and the whys of what you can and can't grow. Thanks loads.

Was too keen and we have already planted some garlic last week (using your method), but I'll hang on before planting any more. Great to hear we can still grow coriander, it's our favourite herb. Thanks for the info 😀

Morning Monty, sadly my Asian greens all were decimated by flea beetles but I’m doing more 😂. I think I’ll do some new brassicas and my broad beans are outside already as I started them indoors they are about 6” now and pinched out once. Hope everyone is doing well especially mom (does she like her new chicken house). Thank you for sharing ✌️🇨🇦🐝safe

that's a real shame, I've still got loads of broad beans to sow. She's doing good, still haven't managed to finish the chicken house yet, hopefully this week (i know i've been saying that for the last 3 weeks lol)

Thanks for this positive video! I have started a lot of plants at home waiting to get a place in my plot. Paksoi, mustards, endive, lettuces, coriander. My only problem is the occasional rabbit eating away my greens.... so I need to protect everything. Hopefully this weekend!

Are cabbages and cauliflowers unaffected by cabbage flies and worms in winter? Every year I loose my entire crop to these dreadful creatures in summer, what ever I do. Wondering if I will be more successful if I plant them in winter. Will be very grateful for your advice.

Are these good for all zones? We get a lot of snow and it gets really cold here, often -10°F in the winter

I don't think they'll do well without protection at temps that cold, garlic might make it.

Hi Monty, just wondering what food you make with broad beans? Didn’t know what to do with my crop this year as we don’t really use them in Pakistani cooking!

Brilliant as ever. Am going to start some chillies off now. Thought I’d have to wait till January but worth a try I think. Do you ever keep chili plants from one year to the next? I’ve a couple that look ok and am thinking of bringing them into the house over winter.

We normally over winter a few plants, last year we struggled because it was so much colder than usual. I'll be doing a video on overwintering chillies soon

Hello i need help ortho fire ant poison accidentally got tilled into my garden will i ever be able to garden again. I did contact the company but they just sent me a generic email. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
@MyFamilyGarden3 жыл бұрын
that stuff will be readily availabe to be taken up by plant for a couple of years, i'd raise the soil level and avoid planting leafy crops , i'd go for fruiting plants instead. a cover crop could be used to absorb as much of the pesticide as possible too
