I did not have a financial back up at that time... that was the sole reason...IIIT Hyderabad is equally good no doubt..many people choose it over new IITS..also I thought that I can get good rank next year.. so I did not want to have any regrets for the future..so I thought let's give it a try

I dont know about Igate bhilai but applied Gate CS has a great GAtE content..many of my friend who are under 100 GATE rank holder have done their coaching from there

Didi, I ruined gate this time I am just getting 31 marks though I was in 3 year but know I am felling bit stressed because I gave gate one year and ended here and also didn't did any kind of coding whether it is development or data structures, what to do continue with gate or do coding. Though I want to do my master's from IIT but what if I ended just like this that time?

I mean if you did good preparation this year.. you won't have to put this much effort this time... if you focus entirely on GATE in last 6 months you can still do better.. if you do a lot of practice... before that..you can indulge into coding because its going to help you even in your masters when you'll be preparing for placement..so think of it as as part of your Gate prep.. and give time to that as well

I think applied gate cs has a great team and great source.. many of my peers in IISc has done their coaching from there.. Srinath sir teach very well..as I am doing his ML course.. so I can vouch on that

I am getting ranks all over the spectrum from rank predictors. Best being 80 on gateoverflow and worst being 575 on madeeasy. I want to prepare myself for the worst case, so how should I prepare for interviews at IITs? Should I focus only on DSA, or should I focus on other subjects too? Would be very helpful if you could please make a video on the same. Thank you in advance.

Hi vasu.. its good that your are preparing for worst case scenario...there are only few IITs which take interview or test other than gate score... So that's not a problem...but i will suggest prepare DSA for placement purpose so that you'd be a little ahead then your peers at the time of placements because you are not going to get enough time with your MTech coursework.. other than that you can explore your interests ..if you are specifically interested in one domain you can even do mtech research course...and most of the time even if your rank is in 300 you can get this research course even in IIT bombay and IISc ..most of the toppers do not go for mtech research course just because they are not clear about their domain...so if you can get that clarity... It will be great for you.. because there is more learning. Plus you get a flavour of research in 3 years..and in other case you can always sit in same placements where Mtech people sit..so its also a win win

if you belong to general category.. its hard for you to even get a good NIT on this rank.. also you are from CIVIL i dont really have any idea about that.. I am extremely sorry.

i think bro judge ur self beacuse third attempt is more and ur score 30 marks if 50+ is score u can expect better in next year but it is not gauranteed so i think you take job and try for simulatanoeus ur job ur backup . lets think ur gate score is not good next year then (aapka ek year barbad nahi hoga )u get one year experince.

Ma'am is 25 years too high of an age to pursue MTech from IISc? Since most students will be 3-4 years youngers will it be a demotivating factor, plz tell honestly.

No shame not at all... there are only 20.. to 30 % student fresh out of college..most of us are here after doing job ..some are even 28..29 years old...some even 35...

Hi Rohit... I did not take any coaching..although I had access to Ravinia babu ravula videos.. I used them as a source for my theory building ... I did not follow any standard book.. other than that I did Pyqs and as many practquestion as possible

Hi shrusti...42 to 50 is a vast range..your rank can worry widely...in 2020 i got 48 marks and i got AIR 2400.. so if you get a rank around this on that case you might get NITs but not top 4..this is according to year 2020..this year you might get a better rank this year on this score
