If I’m making a rug with wool strips, do you have a recommended method for cutting a large number of strips using your tools or products? Looking for an efficient alternative to just using scissors!

I wasn't expecting the issue with vinyl, I feel I learned something valuable today, even if I don't, yet, have a hot knife. are there attachments for that hot knife? I know some prop makers use a nichrome wire "blade" to cut foam.

What is the recommended method to clean the hot knife blade if it gets gummed up?

Heat it up until close to cherry red then rub it with the wire brush it came with. Should be good as new after!
