Has anyone bought this product and used it with Logic Pro X and third party VSTs like Omnisphere or Kontakt? How do these VSTs interact (or react with the Dubler? I am a violinist. I can no longer play because of arthritis so using this with a violin instrument in Kontakt and being able to do vibrato with the pitch bend setting would be amazing! Ready to buy but would like to have some feedback with a user working with something other than Ableton Live. I have both Live and Logic and use them both. Thanks!

Does the dubler software only work with its own mic or any normal mic?

At the moment the software is only available as part of a kit with our mic. The main reason for this being that the results can vary quite drastically depending on your mic and interface combo regardless of quality. Some can work well with a bit of tweaking, whilst others can be pretty terrible no matter what you do. Our mic just guarantees the software performs as well as we've intended. We will look to software only at some point in the future, however, it requires some work on our end to make sure it's as accurate as it can be with almost any mic out there, and for all users.

To add your own vocals to the beat you make, do you just use your own mic on the software?

On Mac computers Dubler can act as an audio and MIDI device simultaneously, allowing you to record your vocals and MIDI at the same time. Using a separate mic to pick up your vocals is another option!
