Just started your courses and I am so in love with them! This idea with dying the pastel mat is fabulous! I love the effect. I have always wanted to do pastels but could not find any courses I liked. I bought so many pastels hoping to learn some day as it was a passion to do something. Until I found your courses, I was feeling frustrated that I would never find anyone teaching this. You teach it so well while making it fun.

Thank you so much. I hate white paper and someone gave me some white pastelmat. Now I am going to make them midtone.

WOW what a great idea. Do you have a tip how to put it to dry or drip out? Hanging maybe? (Like a photographer does with his photo’s?)

I would lie it flat to dry or you'll get a puddle at the bottom if you hang it. Let it dry naturally as a heater will create marks 😊

Hello! Can you use high flow acrylic paint instead of ink to tint the paper? Thanks in advance...😊

Alcohol works really well as well and dries in half the time of the water

I second this! Plain vodka tinted with crushed pastel has worked a dream for me, as weird as it sounds 😂
