Just wanted to say it was as delicious as it looks on camera, but whoa, I'll make a much smaller serving next time. Going to have the cookie dough as a second meal later. Just wanted to see if it was enough food and wow, it's way too much. LOL And you're right, you have a lot of energy from a salad like that. I could eat like this every day I think because you can change the taste a bit with different greens and legumes and raw dressings or even a little fresh fruit. I'm wild about raw food, but not so wild about salads until I made this one. It's great!

Thank you Cara for sharing what you eat for health & energy. I think you & I might be close in age & I wanna look like you! There was a time when I loved to read, run, walk & ride bicycle.. just was full of energy & loved life, & smiled all the time.. so much, that coworkers asked why was I always smiling. But then had some very traumatic things happen to me & doctors put me on antidepressants.. they didn't help me.. so doctors put me on different ones .. & then combined some.. it was like going down in a deep dark rabbit hole.. zapped life from me. As much antidepressants as they had me on .. I should've been the happiest camper on planet earth.. but was not happy at all.. didn't seem to have a clue how to be happy anymore & gained a lot of weight because of the trauma & antidepressants. Finally, I'd had all I could take & asked that they help me to wean off, because I felt they were destroying me.. So thankful not to have to take those things that I don't feel ever helped me!!! And then ended up with rocky mountain spotted tick fever & could barely walk .. could barely raise my arms to wash my hair.. every step I took felt like the bones in my legs were going to disintegrate.. had to lean against walls to hold myself up to get to & from bathroom.. broke a few toes while leaning on wall as I walked. Then Infectious disease doctor ran test .. on top of the rocky mountain spotted tick fever levels having been through the roof, my vitamin D levels had dropped to 6!!! They prescribed me D2, but I went to a health food store & got vitamin D3 & some vitamin K to take with it. A year later, test showed D levels at 100!! Yay! I'm changing my eating habits, which after the trauma had become real bad. Anyway, if you've read this far, first of all, Thank You!!! And would you please tell me what kind of cutting boards do you recommend? Where to get the glass jars you & Markus use to store your seeds, nuts in, as well as pour your juices & smoothies in? Where to get the water you drink? Thank you. And the only way to fight rocky mountain spotted tick fever is by taking doxycycline.. so learned the hard way, that I needed a good probiotic because the antibiotics killed off the good bacteria with the bad ones. Only have to take antibiotics when the pain gets real bad, when it gets bad, it's like someone is jabbing big ice pics in my hip bones. Even though I don't touch sodas, don't even crave them anymore, or candy, I'm still dealing with low energy & weight isn't coming off like I want it to. I'm watching your videos daily.. trying to find better ways to get my health and happiness back. Any suggestions you have are wanted and appreciated. I apologize for it being so lengthy, if you read it, thank you so very much for finding the time! GOD Bless y'all!!! 🌻😊

Nice advice, eliminate those plastic bags touching your greens, they would love to be with a wet papel towel covering the roots and some herbs you can even put them in a glass with a bit of water (still inside the fridge) we do this in the restaurant industry and veggies and herbs stay super fresh and never get mushy from being in plastic bags... I was scared too when she started chopping the garlic while reading from her laptop at the same time. I understand your concern Markus.

I have to try Cara's salad. It looks really filling because of the beans and lentils. Thank you for posting this one.

I'm the exact opposite when it comes to fruits and veggies. I crave fruit more and it's like dessert, whereas I have to make eating greens a to-do item on my list or it'll never happen! Haha I wish I craved greens... but just finished a glorious fruit fast. Vibing high, regardless! 💖

I juice a lot of them just to be sure I get them in. Then make dressings from zucchini and eggplant. I love watching healthy eating videos!
