What CAUSED the FAILURE of POKEMON games?

Another game like Legends Arceus could be interesting as it's got a better story when compared to the traditional pokemon formula, but it was definitely needing some more development time. Ironically, a pretty good news would be to know that Pokemon ZA is put at a later date to take more time, kinda like what happened with Zelda BOTW. Maybe it's storytelling wasn't the best and looking at it now it's more archaic, but that open world is something that would make any Pokemon game a real adventure, with the characters actually being in the open world instead of staying in the cities. Oh, and let the spin off games like Mystery dungeons come back with something new, I love these games.

@@DX16 mystery dungeon is goated fr. And a BOTW Pokémon game would be amazing yet the past attempts at an open world haven’t been great. Arceus was a good start. Now it’s time to go beyond that. People want the games to maximize their potential

I mean they coming out with legends za so ur prayers are answered there. And lowkey i get what ur saying but i really like the pokemon in gen 7 and the whole totem thing i think it was cool but it definitely was easy. I think in gen nine they did a pretty good job at balancing the ease because some of those trainer battles are pretty hard and if they make tutorials not blatant and make it fun like in my opinion they did with gen nine and legends arceus the next games will be very good
