I use salt on a q-tip and I put that on my cold sore. What I do is I grab a q-tip I dip it in water so the salt sticks and then I pour salt on my q-tip and then I put it on my cold sore and I hold it there for about 30secs to 1 minutes. And it goes away fast. If you catch it at the first stages before it gets big it will be gone by the next day, but if you use it when it’s big it will take 3 days. Ahhhh.... Sad... Sad... Don't give up hope. I know u can heal b/c I have. The herpes virus sits approximately in the middle of your head in your ganglia which sucks b/c it makes it hard to get at, but not impossible. And many say it's incurable but it's not - IMO. I'm NOT a Dr, but I have better. I have gotten results. They also say u cannot heal herpes locally b/c of that whole "sits in the ganglia business", but I beg to differ. Even if it’s a garnish on a plate of food and I take it off and eat the food, I will get one. After 13 years I finally figured it out, and have tested it out a million times the last 11 years so I know it is true for me. Maybe this could help someone else if they are also triggered by citrus. It’s crazy to me that they recommend citrus when it is a known trigger for some people. My question is can a cold sore cause fever or are they just symptoms!!!???? Because I knew the cold sores coming on my lip, but the same day I got a high fever, and than the cold sores/herpes got on my under lip and in my nose and in the inside of the lip in mouth, so could it be that too much stress that I receive working in a hospital get plenty of, kicked the immune sistem to make herpes and than they came out with high fever!!!??
