Whenever I went through puberty I noticed gyno too. It wasn't really severe, as in the size never became really large mostly it was mild. But I even noticed little painful knots. If someone would've hit me in the chest it would've been very painful. Once an asshole "friend" was "playing around" I guess in the way he thought was okay to "play around" and pinch/twisted my chest hard. I wanted to punch him right in the freaking face it was so painful and had to refrain from doing so. Anyways, I didn't understand what this was at that age. But it did go away and I've never experience it again in my life. It was just something to deal with for a short period of time. So don't worry it's likely the same for you. Especially at 13. Just make sure you're eating a good diet and you get exercise! This guy in this video seems to be overweight so it's going to amplify the effects and make things more noticeable. Being overweight is going to make your chest larger anyways. So just make sure you live a healthy lifestyle! You'll appreciate it as you get older even if you don't now. But if you start/continue now you'll notice more attention your way and you'll feel more confident in yourself.

For some reason, I'm not convinced there is NOTHING related to this condition in his case. His voice is feminine, his body is feminine, and when you add that to the breast growth, it seems like it's hormonal or that he is intersex. I wonder if they tested to see if he's chimera? It's extremely rare so not a test they may have even thought of.
@marcospeguero73178 жыл бұрын
I agree. I was thinking Klinefelter (XXY), but they said they ran a hormonal profile on him and found no hormonal inbalances. Klinfelters have low testosterone (which would at least keep him from going bald and would explain the gynecomastia) and high FSH, he would've said something about it. But i still feel he could try digging a bit further. Maybe lack/low adrenal enzymes?
@darkanser6 жыл бұрын
A possible intersex condition came to my mind too. I used to notice many of peers used to get swollen nipples around the age of puberty but I thought nothing of it. I never learned it was a problem. It sucks bad. Had my surgery 4 years ago at 40 years old. I never went swimming or went to beach without a shirt. My life now is so much better. My gynecomastia started at 13 and by the age of 18 was basically a C cup. So many years I tried to have the surgery but never could because insurance never wanted to cover it in spite of my doctors best efforts. I finally saved enough money to have the surgery. Mine cost $7K and I have 8 inch scars on both sides of my chest because of the extent of it and the extra skin. In time they got better and hardly noticeable today. After surgery I had no complications and very little pain. I only needed 1.5 of the pain pills I was prescribed. If any of you are suffering from this do your best to save money and get it. It is truly life changing.

I would recommend you do what I did which helped out alot in shrinking the size (not ultimately getting rid of it but i could wear a shirt and people wouldn’t notice)... Do cardio: running, swimming, anything that makes you sweat like crazy and also eat healty whole foods (salads, lean meats, eliminate as much sugar as possible from your diet). I was your age when I first started to notice i had “boobs”... and Im 18 now that I finally got surgery done and it was the best thing ive done all my life. Hang in there pal it’ll get better. Try talking about it with your parents or someone you know will understand and support you it helps alot.

Gynecomastia and ways to deal with it needs more public attention! I've had it since puberty and the idea of taking my shirt off in public is terrifying, I'd rather take off my pants and underwear (no joke) than take off my shirt. It's easy for people that don't have gynecomastia to underestimate the psychological effects that it puts on men. Especially when it onsets at puberty, kids are harsh to each other, and I have no idea how many times I was made fun of or how many times I was referred to as "Boobs". I guess maybe you could compare it to a woman that is completely flat chested, it can be pretty damaging to your self confidence, especially if you have a shy or timid personality. Every man wants a manly body, (some care more than others of course), and having breasts is one of the most feminine physical traits that a man could have. And we all know that women are generally attracted to a masculine chest. Insurance very very rarely covers surgical removal of the breast tissue, because it's not usually (as far as I've learned) a health risk, it's usually considered a cosmetic issue. I would say it's a cosmetic issue that is usually associated with a developmental low self esteem complex, for lack of a better term lol. I'm not suggesting that everyone pities men with gynecomastia though, because we all know that overcoming struggles in life makes you a better person, right? I DO plan on getting the surgery to remove it (I debated the idea for a long time in the past). I know in my heart that I shouldn't expect the surgery to completely fix the self esteem issues that I have, and I know that we shouldn't let vanity rule us. So I'm not really in a hurry to do it (money is also a big issue, don't get me wrong, I would absolutely love getting the surgery). It's nice to see a community here on YT that can relate with this condition! If anyone is struggling with gynecomastia and wants to chat hit me up!

However, I take several medications for blood pressure and cholesterol. Medications can cause Gynecomastia and I heard years ago, smoking weed can cause it. If that's the case, a lot of young men should have Gynecomastia. 😅 😂 🤣On a serous note, I am embarrassed to take off my T-shirt in front of someone and to look in the mirror at myself. Unfortunately, a lot of insurance companies will not cover the cost for Gynecomastia surgery. I read, the average cost of gynecomastia usually ends up being between $4,500 and $7,500. Gynecomastia is also common among middle-aged and older men. In this population, up to 65 percent of men are affected.

1. If you are going through puberty, have it due to hormonal imbalance which is pretty normal in many 2. It will usually go away after a few months / years after you notice it 3. You can temporarily reduce the size of it through medications but surgery is the only option if you want to get it removed permanently 4. Klinefelter syndrome (KS), also known as 47,XXY is a syndrome where a male has an additional copy of the X chromosome. The primary features are infertility and small poorly functioning testicles. Often, symptoms are subtle and subjects do not realize they are affected.

@boolanny5 жыл бұрын
he may of had target testosterone levels , but what docs dont often check is FREE testosterone , the test your body actually needs to function, he may of been converting most of his free test to estrogen because well thats what happens, and then his baldness was due to too much DHT...so i'm no doc but it had to be hormonal at some level, what triggers all this ..is the critical information needed...tumors, etc...

I am having this done in 2 days. They are removing the fat and tissue and will check for cancer, like in females. Had these for decades and finally doing something about them. It is really embarrassing when people stare at them. It lowers your self esteem(people already lower that), your confidence. Will be nice to go outside without a shirt or even a shirt without those.

Most cases of gynecomastia are caused by antiperspirants or deodorants containing aluminum salts which trigger estrogen receptors in the area. Through dermal application of the product, tissue and cysts form under the nipples. Antiperspirants are designed to block underarm sweat ducts with aluminum salts. As a result, cysts arise from blocked breast ducts in the adjacent region of the body. It’s plausible that breast cysts arise from antiperspirant use if sufficient chemicals are absorbed over long periods of usage. I switched to a non aluminum deodorant and it solved my gynecomastia issue. It went away by itself after I discontinued use of the antiperspirant, with aluminum, within 8-9 months. Push-ups and bench presses alone, don’t rid of cysts and tissue growth, caused by aluminum salts.

I have the same condition and it still bothers me to this day. A few years ago I had a very cool doctor and he could see that my condition really bothered me so when he was touching and examining my chest he said " you're feeling pain in there......right?" And he was nodding his head so I could tell him "yes".....the reason was because with most insurance it's considered cosmetic surgery which isn't covered. But since I was feeling "pain" he sent me to a specialist and somehow I got set up for surgery and my insurance paid most of it!...I was nervous but excited....well after the surgery I felt great like I was reborn or something....only problem was, believe it or not, after surgery and a few months later my man boobs started growing back! I was devastated all over again. Only good thing was that they weren't quite as big as before....I'm just telling you this in case you come across a real cool doctor who will work with you. Believe me bruh I know EXACTLY how you feel...I have plenty of horror stories with this shit. But try to get with a doctor who will work with you. I wish you nothing but the best.

His hormone panel came back ok? Bullshit. His voice reveals a lot of estrogen and his head reveals a lot of testosterone to dht conversion. His values might (I don’t know) be within range but they are obviously not ok for HIM. My guess is he produced a lot of testosterone on the first place and was overweight during puverty. He had a lot of test to estradiol conversion via aromatase enzime on his fatty tissue and fatty liver. People need to understand that, specially over puverty, being an overweight boy will render feminizing effects. And yes, there are ways to diminish the testosterone to estrogen conversion, but doctors will prefer to let the problem progress resorting to surgery at the end $$$$$

I had it at 15 so I remember waiting around at home for it to go away and how big of a deal it, in terms of embarrassment, it was. To top it all off your people (including your parents and the doctor) just tell you it’ll go away, but it truly never does. The gyno kind of went away after joining the army and going through basic training but not fully until I had the expensive surgery. LIFE ABSOLUTELY SUCKED UNTIL THEN. Hopefully your parents will understand and get the surgery done for you.

@spoilerman89753 жыл бұрын
Start by laying off of all soy products. And that includes vegetable oil which is soybean oil. Also cut down on your dairy consumption. have eggs and lean meat as your protein source. And keep your carbohydrates to a medium. And also it's very important that you start being more physically active. I would suggest that you start a weight lifting routine. All of these things I mentioned above are very important and will help make you more masculine and stop any further progression of chest tissue growth. Good luck to you and keep your head up this can pass especially with you growing into puberty. remember to stay physically active, that's what increases testosterone.
