I never had any stomach problems until last year once in a while I have stomachache. So this time before I did colonoscopy I told the Dr that my stomach sometimes hurts I thought was colon so he suggested to do GI endoscopy while doing colonoscopy this time, ended up my colon is good but my stomach has Hiatal hernia with reflux esophagitis with 1 cm ulcer at the gastroesophageal

I have a grade IV grade hernia, undergoing pre surgical tests for cancer and gerd, is there anything I can do to relieve pain till surgery? I’m off all meds for accuracy of tests, and my throat and diaphragm is very painful

On the last gastroscopy everything was ok, but I have gastric cardia insufficiency. But after that I have chest discomfort after eating. It is not pain, just discomfort. Could that be hiatal hernia?
