In this video, I talk about what causes low blood pressure.
Low blood pressure can cause a lot of problems. It can make you feel dizzy or just not yourself.
1. Postural hypotension (POTS) - This is an issue of low B1 or adrenal fatigue.
2. Dehydration - Too much exercise or vomiting, diarrhea, and diuretics can cause dehydration and low blood pressure.
3. Low salt - If your sodium level is low, your body won’t be able to retain the right amount of fluid. This can also cause low blood pressure.
4. Addison’s - This is a condition where your adrenals aren’t working correctly. This can cause sodium deficiency and low blood pressure.
5. Drugs - Diuretics, high blood pressure medications, and anti-depressants may cause low blood pressure as a side effect.
6. Low B12 or low folate - Being low in either of these nutrients can cause anemia and low blood pressure.
7. Post-prandial - Consuming a meal can cause your blood pressure to drop because of a weakness in the autonomic nervous system.
8. Heart weakness - A heart condition could be the cause of low blood pressure. Heart conditions can also cause high blood pressure.
9. Anemia - Those with anemia oftentimes suffer from low blood pressure.

My mother and I have low bp. My mother keeps going to ER for feeling faint and they wanted to put in a pace maker! She drinks 10-12 big glasses of water and iced tea a day. Finally one doctor said her sodium is really low. Hmmm I wonder why?! 😅 He put her on sodium chloride pills. Why didn’t he just tell her to drink less fluid and take more iodized salt. I can’t believe they wanted to put a pacemaker in her. My father one day was in ER with my mother and sister-in-law, both RN nurses. Mom called me that dad had almost fainted and they didn’t know what was wrong , neither did the doctors. She asked me to pray become she was afraid it was his heart. I said, “Let me talk to Dad.” “Hi Dad, tell me what you did today.” “I went to the gym.” “Did you sit in the hot tub too?” “Yes.” “Ok what did you do before that?” “Well I had a beer with lunch” “Ok, any water all day?” “No just coffee.” “Ok what did you do after working out and sitting in the hot tub?” “I stopped at The Local and had a glass of red wine.” “Ok Dad let me talk to Mom.” “Mom, Dad is dehydrated. Tell the doctor all he did today, and get him some water and an IV.” She called me later and said “You were right!” I cannot believe the doctor did not ask simple questions and 2 RN’s couldn’t think. I think the medical field is doing a poor job of teaching critical thinking skills.

I have struggled with chronic LBP...which I'm told is a blessing. I started drinking an electrolyte drink which is 32 oz water, 2 servings of electrolyte powder, 2 drops lemon essential oil, 1 drop tumeric essential oil, a good pinch of Baja salt, and a teaspoon of collegan. I drink 3 of these a day. I also started on raw adrenal caps taken twice a day. I do not have issues anymore.

Dr Eric Berg. I have very low blood pressure, sometimes as low as 80/45. I'm my early twenties I had hyperthyroidism, was medicated and they say I don't have it any more, even though sometimes I feel I do. I've had psoriasis off and on since I was in my teens but now it's in my palms and behind my neck all the time, I'm 52yrs old now. I have slipped disks and burning feet, neuropathy. My gall bladder has been taking out 2yrs ago. I was on pain meds terribly addicted 3 years ago. I I've since changed my diet, cut out most sugar, I'm a vegetarian, I'm mostly GF, now that I've been watching your videos I'm cutting all sugar and no gluten. Today I ate so much salad greens with, avocado half, lemon blended whole pinch of cayenne, salt because I love it so much, some Italian herbs, brags and olive oil. As dressing. I've taken a teaspoon of nutritional yeast, the vinegar, lemon and ginger drink, I also have been low in vit.d3 before so with sun everyday I took 8,000 BTU of D.3. I'm hoping this will help me get well and of a disability check so I can work. This is also day one of only 2 meals, and only water or lemon water between meals

My father past out twice in a 2 week span recently, with the second one putting him in the hospital. His doctors were treating him for highblood pressure with big pharma pill 💊 for the last many years. It turned out that he was suffering from low blood pressure because he drank too much water that deplete his sodium chloride. He often has arm itches and jabbing back pain that they say are highblood pressure or highblood sugar symptoms. 🤔 🙄

Low blood pressure runs in my family. All of the women have low blood pressures. As a teenager, my vision would blackout when I stood up quickly...no dizziness...just could not see. Most of my life my BP has been 90/60. Doctors just say that having low BP is better than high BP and they only suggestions was to take salt tablets. Fatigue is a real issue with low BP. If I get stressed my BP will fluctuate ...I have scared more than one EMT in my lifetime!

I have a few suggestions on what I have learned...I have low blood pressure that I think is likely due to adrenal issues, but I have noticed that adding sea salt to my water twice a day has helped a lot, including eating potassium high foods like dried apricots. I also take the 12 cell salts in homeopathy which helps a lot too. Iodine is another supplement to consider, and perhaps L-tyrosine for the thyroid which also plays a role in blood pressure. But another thing is juicing celery, celery juice contains so many minerals, when I drink 16 ounces of celery juice, my low blood pressure always goes up to normal.

I’m not dizzy when stand up from sitting. I do IF, and some days fasting. A month ago I did 3 day water fast without feeling hunger or loosing focus or strength, Just before finishing 72 hour fast, my sugar level was 2.6, and my ketones were high. That night and night after I stopped 3 day WF, I woke up about 1: 45 at night, and could not fall a sleep again for a while. Do you think I may have Adrenalin fatigue or any Adrenalin problem? I’m last 3 years on Methotrexate and Celebrex for Psoriatic arthritis. I did test that you mentioned, and it was around midnight when I measured my BP was 98 /64 when sitting, and when I stood up it was 85/53. Regards, Marina.

the psoriasis arthritis says more about your health at this point, but lower than usual BP always put some stress on everything, namely heart kidney respiratory connection . if it were me, I would get kidney ultra sound and up my vitamin b complex with emphasis on B1 maybe and do tocotrienols.. reduce the starch and up the greens and fish in the meantime. st dome point tho those meds will affect the very organs you are trying to heal.

I have checked it hundreds of times and can tell when it is low. It makes sleeping difficult, and not restful. All blood work is good.

Dr Berg, it is about hydrogen peroxide video. There is tons of material about that. There is academic, founder of space medicine (he had his medical laboratory in space station-ussr space station) and many many other title, was person od the year, PhD and so on. He was like you, giving his knowledge for free, but he was disliked and shuned by big pharma. He has tons od hydrogen peroxide recepies, from simple cold to feet funges to water cleansing. Im absolutley sure that he will be a gold mine for your future content, but I would like you to use your popularity and knowledge to further spread info on health. I was peeling and eating fruit in my kitchen yesterday. I got *really* tired of chewing the seeds, broke out in a cold sweat, felt horribly dizzy, my vision and hearing started blacking out (ears were ringing), stumbled, and nearly fainted dead on the floor. That *never* happened to me before. I rested in a chair, went to my room to check my blood pressure, and got a reading of 94/(somewhere in the eighties). After feeling more stable, I ate a teaspoon of salt, drank several glasses of water, then felt better. 94 definitely wasn’t a good number for me, as I’m normally in 120’s-130’s. I feel ok now since yesterday, but wonder if I should’ve gone to the doctor anyway. The only reasons I can think of for the fainting episode was mental and physical stress, possibly my supplements, anemia, or the fact I was lying in bed all day, but it wasn’t like I immediately felt dizzy when I got up. I was standing for at least 10 minutes before it suddenly happened. I doubt it was dehydration, as it wasn’t hot and I drank as many fluids as I normally do. Low salt was definitely not the problem.

i noticed if i take more sodium bicarbonate, my low blood pressure goes high but after a short time it goes to low again. i today tried to take 1 teaspoon magnessium sulphate first time and then re-take sodium again and i stayed in higher blood pleasure for longer time and felt drowsy but it was neither low and high pleasure it was normal. i mean if magnessium is low in the body, sodium is excreted in urine fastly and doesnt retain fluids. i have adrenal issues/low cortisol/sleep problems for a long time(not addison just big stress induced) and i found the solution to take more potassium + vitamin c which recovered my cortisol and protects adrenal glands fastly(i have no sleep problems anymore after potassium). but i also took B vitamins as well. my autoimmune condition(skin rashes) are lost after potassium intake. i can feel the cortisol can rise but ive severe dehydrated and no flood retention due to sodium deficiency/lose. in the condition where cortisol goes higher, i dont go high preasure but i can feel the cortsol effect from just bone pain and nose hole opening feeling(more oxigen) and often urine(peeing) so i found the final solution to take the magnessium to retain sodium in the body. this is just my personal experience.
