2 3rd strike characters is too unlikely to happen, I’m guessing one, and 2 alpha 3 characters as it’s the last main SF franchise not represented (assuming EX is out of the question). I think one of the old ones could also happen, Vega might be one of the big ones. Makoto, Menat, Sakura, Cody, Akira, Guy, Maki, Haggard (I can dream), I’m literally casting a wide net and praying for one of them to makes it in. 4 slots is way too little, especially after the guest characters came into play.

@@pyxelpub8251 Ok, but the most important part is that Dudley and/or Makoto aren't exactly excluded from the game. The topic of "season 3 prediction/wishlist" is too restrictive in first place, because the realistic options are too little. But this game is still starting... it will probably have 5 season like SF5, so there will be many more dlc slots in the future, if two SF3 chars don't make it in season 3.

I think both chars are almost certain to appear in SF6... just not sure if in season 3, or yet both in season 3. They are among the most popular SF3 chars. Remember that they were, including Ibuki, the first wave of SF3 chars that appeared in SF4. And most importantly this game is set in the "future" timeline of SF3, so it's right to expect a good number of more SF3 chars in the next dlc seasons.

I can't imagine how toxic Makoto would be in a game with Drive Rush, Drive Impact, multiple supers, ex moves separated from super bar, and a large juggle combo windows. And that's why she is among the top picks in my wishlist. And she actually has good chances of showing up because of her popularity, even if not in season 3.

Same situation of Guy. Small chances because of the focus on the "next generation" concept, in this case starring Kimberly. And it just happens that SF devs are not into multiple ninjas of the same style, as much as they are open to multiple (even too many) shotos in the same game. They are contradictory in their roster decisions just because shotos are important in SF.
