And it took a LOT of years for me to understand it. the point of the line is that we as humanity are ALREADY under YHVH Adonai wrath, and without this ManGod coming in my place and my future familys, we will ourselves personally face and receive this perfect just holy wrath- and unlike Him, I have my own incurable sin and sinfulness and would never recover. Only Jesus Christ Yeshua is so loved by the Father He would rend the veil of the temple in two to recover Him. Only the Spirit of God promised by the prophets and the Son CAUSES anyone to have their eyes cracked open to realize the Laud he is due; and what an awesome line inviting ANY1 who is so moved to do so, as these 'wisemen from the East' were apparently miraculously led to do so long ago.
