Wow! It was actually on the 'great-side-of-the-fence'. It's slower cadence struck me as what the people would have felt on that actual night. Feelings of ...resolve, at rest, assuredness, the knowing that things were going to be alright. A pleasant surprise, Bud, indeed. :) Also, this version would definitely be referred to as "What Child is this", and not maybe moreso 'Greensleeves'.

I’m glad I could introduce it to you, and I’m glad you enjoyed it! The melody is also known as “Greensleeves”, a medieval folk song. The Carol lyrics were added later. It is one of my favorite melodies. Yes, this is the DulciForte :)
