Fields has had maybe the worst luck of a QB, with who he has played for, and please I’m not act like he is top tier, but for real give him a OC that is really good with weapons and then we can say he is worth this or that!

he wanted to come to the steelers, fully knowing he was going to backup russ. he didnt get a raw deal. he got the deal he signed up for. he actually got lucky russ was hurt and was able to show the nfl hes better than he was in chicago.

Ive never seen so much hate out of a fan base towards a team thats doing better than they have in years w/ a 8-3 record. we beat 4 of the top 11 teams in this weeks power rankings. we are also in the top 11. it almost like they upset we arent the browns. things would be so much better if we were 3-8.

I got a feeling Russ is going to take less. I got a feeling hes going into his tom brady phase of I got enough money I want super bowls. and takes less to build a better team around him. my guess is 25m a year. which in turn allows us to put in a better offer on JF. but that all depends on what kinds of offers JF gets in free agency. be tough to take 10-15m backup job when he might have an option for a 20-40m starting job.
