I am so so glad to hear you are doing okay now; and I'm pleased this video is validating. Controlling parents can't say what we most long to hear, so I say it for them. But mostly, I say it for all gathered here - to ease pain and extend an invitation to walk away from that longing. What do you do if you cannot imagine your parents being sorry? Like, if they were so egoic that they would die first (or kill you) before admitting that? Can you visualize someone else saying it, and them being your real parent?
