Sadly the most likely outcome here is that he was disorientated from lack of sleep having been up all night drinking and maybe fell down out in the middle of nowhere and serioulsy hurt himself. I very much doubt that he was kidnapped and certainly wouldn't believe that there was anything untoward going on with his friends. He must have died on the day of his disappearance. He went into very dangerous terrain... drugged, drunk and without water or proper clothing. I don't think he was alive when day over.
