There are a lot of differences between the two games and different stratergies of course work better on one than the other (just notice how fast this play is from Fnatic compared to what you'd see in CSGO), but this video was made to highlight some of the similarities in approach that can be translated across. Interested in your feedback on this video as I obviously haven't covered Valorant before. Also this video fried my brain trying to switch between the different termonology between both games so sorry about that! eg. Mollys, Snakebites, etc.
@deltaslayer11323 жыл бұрын
I really liked the comparison and I think you explained it really well! CSGO is my main game so please keep the focus on that. And for the terminology, it was easier to understand when you said Molotov rather than a snakebite.

I'm coaching a collegiate team right now and since I'm from CS:GO, I tried my best to accept that the games aren't that similar tactically. From drafts to map design, the game's meta (for now at least) is quite different. Drafting enables what your team can do and can't do while the map designs force a more committal playstyle compared to CS:GO's pick-and-play approach. For real though, this type of content is what I'm waiting for since I loved your guides and it lead me to the player/mentor that I am today!

What can we learn from tier 3 cs go pros in valorant pro scene ?
@bambibambibambi70343 жыл бұрын

@uwirl43383 жыл бұрын
@@bambibambibambi7034 It sounds pretty fair. Valorant players are new talent, CS tier 2-3 pros, and the occasional completely washed CS tier 1 pro. Meanwhile in pro CS when a team has a new young player playing a certain spot, the enemy team is usually pretty blatant about going there much more often. Make of that what you will.

valorant players: fly all around the map, summon animals, teleport… csgo players: learn… what?
@marcuselias44123 жыл бұрын
If every game were the same, there wouldn’t be multiple games. There are strategic universalities, things we can learn from all games and applied to your game of choice. It’s this learning mindset and adaptability that allows pros to be pros at their game or multiple games. Timings, angles, maximizing opportunity, minimizing risk, understanding your toolset and your opponent’s, teamwork, psychology, etc - all of these things exist in every game.

A lot of people say playing CS makes you a god at Valorant, but my experience has been the exact opposite. Valorant helped me improve my one taps and game sense due to how much I have to keep up with. Every time I go back to CS, I feel like a god due to how simple the game is while my brain turns to mush in Valorant after long CS sessions.

i think just saying molly smoke and nate is absolutly fine in valo. There are some small differences here and there for expl smokes that are hollow and those that aren't as for mollies damage per second and of course time duration but at the end it serves the same purpose as the cs smoke and molly so i think you don't need to make an effort to always list the name of the abillity that has been used exept maybe when its important bc a certain play is possible by an ability that usually wouldn't. Very pleased to see you making Valo content, as i been playing both games.
