What D&D Class are the Power Rangers?

Now while i agree that monks definitely fit what a power ranger would be, i think using weapon style and civilian professions to give each ranger a class Tommy would be a paladin. He fights with honor and is a strong leader Jason is a fighter Billy an artificer Kimberly either a bard or ranger Trini a rouge (because nimbleness and having common rouge weapons) Zack a barbarian (with some bard attributes)

Kimberley uses the Power bow as a harp in one instance so a multi-class would probably be best

Monk Paladins if the DM allowed True RAI aka unarmed smiting unlike what bs Crawford said (The text is too specific and clear for it to be a Mistake that the text allows unarmed smiting, I think Crawford just had a problem with Monks smiting due to thematics which I think is him overstepping his role as a game designer by enforcing his own lore concept on the rules)

Dismissing Warlock is the wrong way to go. The suits are Armor of Shadows and the power weapons are pact weapons (blade blaster is just a use of eldritch blast). Use the spell slots for spells like Jump, Longstrider, etc. Monks can be cross-classed into for the martial arts.

I agree with all of this. But if I may, I would like to add that they all have at bare minimum 2 levels in fighter. And that is for two things, action surge and second wind. Rangers routinely go ham and just beat enemies with multiple waves of attacks. And they are known for getting up when they get knocked down and being hard to keep down. And I saw @Ixador Illcaster the 3rd mention Billy being an artificer, to that I would like to add Rogue to Trini as the most agile member and Ranger to Kimberly as she does do things that fit that if you dig enough. Not a deep multi class but its there. Jason and Zack are just fighters, maybe you could argue Jason as being a paladin as he is the leader

I found this fascinating. I personally used the Warforged for D&D as the template to base them off the Rangers. I started with my first one, which was the Gold Ranger/King Ranger. I did a loose resemblance though rather a carbon copy method. I alsi used the original Super Sentai character name Riki for the character and made a long, extended and highly detailed back story on why and how he ended up in the Forgotten Realms from Eberron. Then I was so into making such characters, I made 2 more also with the original Sentai names. Kou (White/Tiger Ranger) and Burai (Green/Dragon Ranger). In ways of game mechanics they are fighter/monk with superior fighting, the one with a D8 to add to a roll either attack or damage.

@@ragzilla Thanks. I'm more of a story teller than a player, but thats fine by me. I even made a Warforged who is a Warlock/Fighter class based off En Saba Nur (Apocalypse)

Martial Arts with the Deflect Pro. Strike or Blast with the Item Con and the appropriate damage type. Power blaster is Team Attack. Zordon may be represented by the Ally or Patron perk. Zords are Unique Vehicles. The dagger can be Healing and either Buff or Boost. Damn, that was easy.

Oh man, many seasons are unique, Mystic Force rangers for example use spells a lot, Jungle Fury rangers are more into karate than others, Ninja Storm rangers are well, ninjas and etc

I thought of Rangers as either Monks with a few Paladin levels because of their sheer power (seriously in lore these guys' punches are measured with tons of tnt, they can survive nuclear level attacks, and in some cases can warp reality) so, for me, they fit as one of 3 options, a Warlock (Celestial or Hexblade with the Talisman boon), a Monkadin using RAW (smite unarmed), and BlAdesinger, this is because some rangers very clearly have spells like Myztic Force and plenty others are just plain busted like Tommy Oliver who is more powerful than the Morphing Grid at peak

You can make his deflection a reaction only equal to his Monk Lv plus profency modifer

Using 2024 PHB subclasses, here would be their subclasses: Red - Warrior of the Open Hand Black - Warrior of the Shadows Blue - Warrior of the Elements Trini - Warrior of Mercy Kimberly - Warrior of the Open Hand Tommy - Warrior of the Elements/College of Valor

to me i think they can still be part warlock. just have their weapons be pact weapons and problem solved. i mean you can have zardon as their patron and have him give them weapons to symbolize their pact.

Morphing is just summoning Armor of Shadows.

here's a dum idea put Transformer characters in D&D classes as well, but hold up on the civil war identity's because for example Megatron will be classed as the evil WarLord/Demon King or whatever.
