What Did C.S. Lewis Mean by Chronological Snobbery?

C.S. Lewis first spoke about Chronology Snobbery in his Surprised by Hope. The idea is that we think of past periods as less useful and our current period of time as being without any characteristic problems that past generations had. But that is simply a wrong headed way of viewing things. I explain why in this video.
