Too bad there is no way to just lock extra bedroons for a lower rate.

That is an idea but to that end we have noticed on a few of our guests that they didn’t actually tell us the true number of guests they had so they needed the rooms. If we had locked the extra bedrooms would they have really made a bigger mess. We just learning as we go

@thebasement5958 For sure, we stay in airbnb's every year, and we are honest, so we just leave the other bedrooms untouched. It's annoying that there is no way for you to back bill because they are cheating. Besides legislation, this is what holds me off from opening an airbnb. I'm honestly just scared of what people would leave for me. Some people are kind of gross.

My grandparents always kept a spare key hidden around the property. I don't know air BNB rules. But I would leave spare rooms inaccessible with the option. If they break in this would be on them legally yes?

I’m not sure how people are taking it as you are suppose to clean the Airbnb. I do get some hosts expect that but not us. And I’ve never said they had too.
