What a wonderful video! I really enjoyed it so much!! 👏🏼😃 As an ancient historian I really appreciate how well you researched all of this! An interesting little fact; carrots in Roman times would have been white, pale yellow or purple (red/black). The orange carrot was ‘created’ in 16th century Holland.

The man would lay on a couch with a bolster under his arm and the table was high enough for ease of reach. In a proper Roman Republic home of the upper class the woman would not recline but sit in a chair. Later on "scandalous" women did recline. 😂 This was a wonderful video and I am glad you enjoyed the foods!

Jessi & Alessio should show THUMB UP or THUMB DOWN like Ancient Romans at the Colosseum! :) I was required to take two years of Latin in high school! Oh yes! Glad Jessi talked about the Vomitorium! :) When I was a child, I thought the ancient ruins from Greece and Rome were caused by people drinking too much wine becoming drunk and knocking over the buildings walking around drunk! LAUGH OUT LOUD!
