The pigs are becoming archivists of the past century, digging up the memories and things that mattered back then. Toys, music, power, lids and the empty coke bottle when the coke pop was bought for a nickel.

It was funny when we ran turkeys, they did the same... followed anyone around everywhere... when it came to slaughter day, the first 4 practically walked right into the crates... but after the 5th one they started realizing that their kin folk weren't coming back... by the last one, it was a Tom and it's inner ninja came out and beat the livin crap out of my Son who had been plucking them up. Luckily he had the welding coat on, but that Tom was pulling moves like Bruce Lee

Love the pigs. We had about 4-5 acres of land that my dad gave to the pigs that was partially an old gravel pit with one small pond. But the pigs were free to enjoy themselves. The gravel pit area had several areas where people had thrown their unwanted stuff, like old bottles, fencing, and much miscellaneous stuff that was accumulated during the places 100-150 or so year history. The pigs did a wonderful job of clearing out the land and made all sorts of trails for my brother and I. One problem at that time was there were no real areas to take trash to. (Out in the country in Mid-Michigan) So people just made junk piles. We bought the place in 1955 when it may have been somewhere a 100 years old. It was basically just a building with no amenities except a wood furnace and a pump handle for water.

Well Evan without the first frame being stripped down I'd say this wagon frame is in much better shape and longer too. And you're right what you got from the pig pen is just the tip of the iceberg. There's probably going to be some serious tractor work to get it all cleared out ... you might even find the rest of that horse in there. 😂 Thanks for sharing. 👌

Evan, I always enjoy your videos and they’re always enlightening as well as educational. I love how you’re not afraid to tackle more than one project in days time. That’s how it was on our farm we did two or three or four things of the same day but there’s a lot of videos where they do one thing a night I have to go lay down or have a rest and I’m thinking that’s ridiculous! I don’t know a single far and take care of itself only doing one thing at a time each day. And I’ve also made comments to couple wives for not pitching in and helping their husbands on some heavy jobs when you’re standing there with a camera and you can see the husband is struggling about to drop lumber that they need to build a house or trying to back up with a full load on the backhoe/ Front loader in front of a tractor and it’s so full that it’s trying to tip well he is backing up and rather than just go over and help him and put that camera down she just keeps videotaping like she’s helpless. My mother would’ve never done that at the risk of my fathers life. She doesn’t wait to be told to do something and neither do I you just see the problem and get to it. I’m a very active female and no I don’t believe in a woman supposed to just sit and be taken care of only do Certain jobs.. Especially when weethey’ve got tripod and More tripods at the wa-zoo….It was one time the children were helping their Dad raise the wall which was Complete with a very large window that was I think 12 feet to 16 feet wide. Anyway he was the littlest daughter maybe five years old and tiny and so cute trying to help her siblings and Daddy raise that wall so it could be screwed in but she wasn’t even tall enough to get her side up and all of a sudden the wall starts to slip not only from raising it up, but come off the base Building foundation and you can hear her saying “-I’m going to lose it! EeI’m going to lose it” i’m sorry I’m not taller!! Cold and I’m just crying for that little girl trying to be the biggest best help she could be well the mom still there videotaping and not moving quickly to catch that side. What does it matter if we all saw the waterfall in the window break or the little girl gets smashed under the wall. Why didn’t she just stop and help that little girl out !!!! I don’t know when I’ve ever been More angry at a mother than I was that night letting that little girl feel like she was responsible for the failure of that wall not going up when it was really the mothers fault. I mean she’s not even 3 feet tall I don’t think trying to put up a 10 foot wall maybe only eight but I think they said it was 10 feet tall when they were give them dimensions… So thank you for your interest in Family Video’s and the hard work you do and we are going to follow you every time you put out a video and keep supporting you. Also, congratulations on 100K ++ You all deserved it and you have brought a lot of joy into our lives❣️❣️❣️❣️❣️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

I have stored potatoes in a fridge and they lasted easily until next spring. They did not turn soft and they did not sprout. Potatoes that are stored in a fridge can no longer be fried however. For me this is not a problem, since I never fry my potatoes. Boiling, steaming, baking and roasting is fine for me.

@1234eva4321

@@justinauman5438 It is turned on. In the fridge some of the starches turn into sugars, which makes them go dark if you fry them in oil. So if you want to make french fries, don't keep your potatoes in the fridge.
