They repeat the lie so much that mainstream media eventually adopted the false narrative... even though historical evidence tells a very different story. The last 3 Republican presidents tanked the economy. Each left the economy worse than they found it. In each case...a Democrat had to come in and rescue the economy. George H.W. Bush left the economy in a recession (1991). Clinton had to rescue the economy. George W. Bush presided over the greatest economic crisis since the great depression....and lost millions of jobs and billions in retirement savings. The economy had to be rescued by Democrat Barack Obama. Trump presided over an economic collapse almost equal to the 2007 Great Recession. In some aspects it was worse. His incompetence contributed to the problem. The economy had to be rescued by Democrats once again. All the Republicans had lackluster jobs numbers. Democrats had record job growth. These are easily verifiable facts that folks who run media organizations can simply look up. I don't know why Democratic Party strategists don't correct the false narrative that Republicans do a better job handling the economy...it's just not true. There have been difficulties under Biden...but much of that was the result of mismanagement during Covid..which creates a delayed reaction years down the line. The entire world had to deal with inflation...and according to objective experts...the U.S. handled it better than most other major developed countries. Despite that...job growth has been strong and steady, wages have gone up, and the situation is stabilizing.

The moderators, like those we seen in the past, were absolutely GUTLESS when it came to Trump. Trump would insist on having the last word/response/rant to every issue, and weak ABC would let him, for minutes at a time. Further, Trump NEVER gave an actual answer to any question asked. He would rant on from Mexicans, to eating dogs and cats, to being friends with Putin, as well as one lie after another. Meanwhile, Kamala's one attempt only to respond to one of Trump's rants, was abruptly dismissed by ABC. I'll never watch ABC again. They came across as the new FOX News.
