Nailed it. The collection you pick up to pull from and creative choices you make are extremely important to be a stand out dj too. Reading a crowd is possibly the most important. If you can make the crowd just hand over their mind, body, and soul to you and you keep them guessing while having a blast then you're a great dj.

Also, a lot of it might not be "remixed on the spot" in the way people are thinking, but getting sparks of new ideas on the spot for a sick transition or change AND taking that risk is where my respect goes the most.

The remix was not perfect but it was fine. Anyone who actually entertains for a living will tell you this because they know what it is like to ACTUALLY get up and do this stuff for pay. You spend hours to make this stuff happen. You are hot, its loud af, and you have to keep all of this energy going until last call or until noise ordinances kick in for the area you're working. This guy definitely pulled it off. If this was playing in the club? Might as well be perfection. No one is going to notice or nitpick like this live.
