We used to shop in Costa Verde while living in Coronado. That was 30 minutes for us. Coming from the city it is more like an hour now due to traffic and construction. Much faster is you use the Centenario bridge for this trip.

Homes are around 250k you can find smaller apartments around 170k or small homes with 2 bedroom 1200 square feet and 1 bedroom around 170k 210k range. Most though are in the 250k-300k range. The most expensive ones Arcadia are 390k to 600k depending on lot size. The two story home in the video those are 320k.

Hi , we live in Costa Verde, in Puerto Madero across from the neighborhood highlighted. There is not a strong expat community here but a mix of all cultures. Our neighborhood has a lot of Asian families along with Panamanian families. We absolutely love to see the kids riding their bicycles etc and grandparents walking the young ones. This is our 3rd move in nearly 3 years and we have found our place in Panama. Good luck and best wishes

@@Newjack4378 it can be extremely humid depending on what part of the country you are in. There are mountain towns and other areas that are not humid. Panama City is humid. Boquete is not.

I prefer Hallandale Beach Florida beautiful beaches and restaurants and Gulf Stream Park Horse racing track, it’s the biggest in Florida, and Pegasus And Dragon Statue it’s the third biggest statue in the United States, Atlantic Village beautiful shopping mall and full with restaurants and nightlife, Big Easy Casino the second biggest casino in Florida, and your in the city that’s in between everything in south Florida, my favorite city in Florida perfect location.❤☀️

I agree. That's a robotic-looking neighborhood. The house amenities (closet space, kitchen space, builder-grade fixtures) weren't my favorites. I live in Panama and there are definitely many places to live here with more personality. However, the convenience of Costa Verde is great. I don't think it's 30 minutes away from the city, though, except in ideal conditions. Distances in Panama should be measured in kilometers, a much more accurate indicator than time.

Houses are sterile and no wooden floors. Staircase very unatrractive as well. Would rather see traditional Panamanian houses.

Hi, Panamanian here, due to being a tropical country, most houses in Panama are concrete/brick walls, with tiled floors, tiled roofs, with suspended and/or plaster ceilings. Most houses feature minimum wooden panelling, and if any, is mostly for decorative purposes. Some older houses may feature decorative wooden roofs/floors but they are very few. Most of wooden-constructions either have been demolished due to wooden rot/mold issues, or have been torn down in fires during our dry season. Keep in mind our regular humidity levels are usually above 80% all year round, it rains about 7-8 months out of the year and our temperature oscillates between 75°F to 91°F. Hence, the main reason for constructing with concrete and tiles as opposed to wooden constructions is to prioritize ventilation as opposed to isolation. Moreover, in Panama we have to deal a lot with mold and termites, both which are number one enemies of wooden constructions. Hence the reason why we avoid it. Anyways, just sharing some insight as to why they look so sterile, and lack wooden features. I do agree the house showcased here is not a super pretty house, there are prettier houses in Costa Verde (I live nearby).

No cost is most important and it seems like most of these videographers leave it out. Who in their right mind would rent with out AC units, washer dryer, fridge, and other important things. Plus the bathrooms were way too small. Thumbs down all the way around 👎🏿

You can find housing in The Costa Verde area that comes fully furnished. No one is forcing you to lease anything that doesn't meet your needs. This might work for someone who intends to make Costa Verde their long term home. This situation wouldn't work for aomeone like you.
