What's your favourite Chinese food? Chinese dumplings, Mapo tofu or Kung Pao Chicken? Chinese food is much more than that. As an old saying goes, "Food means everything." Chinese people attach great importance to what, how and when to eat. Uncle Hanzi will go to the grocery market, eat hot pot and enjoy the charm of Chinese food culture.

Malaysian Chinese food taste better 😊 My wife and mother visited China twice and the food there are way saltier. Maybe we're not used to that but many main land Chinese that stayed here do love our Chinese food, You should come to Malaysia and try it. Penang has the best. Other non Chinese food here are fantastic too. You do have some fantastic food like Beijing duck and other specialties that we can't compare though.

@@jimjordan6702 Here in Malaysia we beat covid on the first wave but unfortunately for greedy power hungry politicians, a state election happened and we're in lockdown again 😠 China did better than the whole world hands down. Chinese have a cautious stand on anything contagious same add here in Malaysia but the difference are Malaya and immigrant workers who have a different view of this virus when they think God will protect them no matter what they do. There is no God.

I've never been to China, but the nationals I know direct me to Canton bbq here in Aurora, CO and it's absolutely amazing. Expensive but worth every penny. Not Americanized Chinese food I'm told, northern Chinese, the difference is very real.

China has been suffering from famine for hundreds years and even today there are still many living people that have experience of this hard life. Living and surviving these conditions forced them to learn how to adapt and thrive with very minimum food and to utilise all resources to gain the maximum benefit with no waste. Having to eat anything to survive. This now is their in built habit and has served them well. I have even seen programmes of Chinese teaching Africans how to better prepare food with minimum waste to increase the amount of food available. They can be justly proud of this tradition and the food is also delicious.
