The one thing that still annoys me is the vast amount of people wearing Canadian flags on their backpacks whilst in Europe, most of them aren't actually Canadians but Americans pretending to be Canadians to avoid being treated poorly. It makes me uneasy knowing there are thousands of Americans masquerading as Canadians across Europe. It needs to stop.

When I traveled around Europe the number one question I got was “Are you American?” everyone was so surprised when I said I was Canadian. They didn’t believe me cause I don’t really say “Eh” and I don’t have a ‘Canadian’ accent. Lol. I’ve lived in Vancouver my whole life so when I asked them what accent they were referring too they said “the half French-half American accent” and I was like, uhhh..... what? I realized they were probably talking about Eastern Canada lol.
