I think a scrap roll is standardly more diverse, they include a story of multiple cigars and links to them, definitely one to travel with and share, it would be fascinating to hear the story about a single roll based upon how far it's gone - historic leaves and rekindled farms, bliss.

Thank you again for all your videos. I have a question, how long do you let your cigars sit before you smoke them after you make them? I made 4 cigars and tried to smoke one the next day and it didn’t burn very well at all had to stop and count it as a loss. Thank you for your help
@BlissCigarCo3 ай бұрын
I typically roll 4 and then smoke one a day over the next 4 days, starting on the day I rolled them. When I run out, I roll 4 more. So, you are probably rolling with too much moisture somewhere in your roll. You can tell from my videos that I roll right on the edge of flexibility and too-dry.

@@nwpiper5782 Yes, one thing you might learn from my rolling videos is that I do everything exactly the same when I am rolling parejo (straight) cigars, year-in-year-out. There is no reason to deviate from the standard method, as it produces the best results consistently.

Do you have any recommendations on good sources for tobacco? I know there are a small number of commonly known sites online, one of two that I've ordered from myself in the past. Wondering if you have any feedback on any of those well known sites or if you have advice on other places with quality tobacco that anyone can order from.
@MLumis212 ай бұрын
How do you keep your tobacco moist? So it dosent get too dry?
@BlissCigarCo2 ай бұрын
The humidity is usually in the 50-100RH where I live and so it never gets too dry. Sometimes, during certain summer days, I may have to put a light mist into the bag if I'm planning on rolling with filler leaf that's too dry and crackly.

Before I discovered this channel, I assumed all cigars would be made from scraps. Is there a difference in how they smoke compared to those made from stacked/folded leaves like in most of the other videos? Is one method considered "higher quality" than the other?
@CeRockTV6 ай бұрын
Got the answer to my question by googling "short filler cigars" as mentioned in the video🤓
@BlissCigarCo6 ай бұрын
@@CeRockTV What did the google tell you about it?
@CeRockTV6 ай бұрын
@@BlissCigarCo That short-filler cigars are commonly machine produced (which I assume implies overall lower quality) and burn faster and hotter🤓 Would you corroborate this assessment?
@BlissCigarCo6 ай бұрын
@@CeRockTV Well, as we can see, this one is not machine produced. But of course this is an exceptioin. As for the burn qualities, I cannot say. I have enjoyed many machine-produced Cuban cigars through the years. It is more about the flavor and aroma of the tobacco, ultimately, than the method of the assembly.
