So all food trucks in Georgia must make all their food at a commissary kitchen? What if your truck has a mini kitchen and storage already?

I think it vary's by county. I run a BBQ trailer in Coweta and do not use a commissary. My trailer is the commissary on wheels. I buy all my food and supplies each week for that weeks service, so everything is stored on my trailer. My trailer is equipped with everything you'd find in a commissary kitchen

Yea, all those truck you see they are operating in georgia they are doing illegally. One thing someone told me you could do is its partner up with someone who is already licensed. Ask them if they will let you get your business license under their llc. You can have many businesses under the same llc. This business will be separate from their business. Think of walmart and sams Clubs two different companies under the same Inc. This is call Dba ( doing business as)

commercially zoned normally but when on private property you need owners permission, also for festivals and local events just need the managers permission but in most cases you will still need a permit from the city or county

concession trailers although they are built slightly different and maybe the layout is different the esence of the busines is the same ... prepare your food be welcoming to your customers and be driven to succeed the "space" a truck or trailer is the only difference. I rna a bakery and deli and know from what I did food is food . make it delicious and priced right and they will come be patient with the process and love the process.
