What do I Take Family Camping?

When we go family camping my wife packs all sorts of stuff we don't need but it keeps her happy spending an hour setting up a home from home 😉 Not tried an air tent yet looks good mate 👍 Take care Roo

We used to take all sorts of stuff we didn't need as well. But now space is a bit tight

car packing, most fun. I had 4 with foster child. wet bedding every morn. but now as adults they have good memories

We love going camping too. It’s only 4 of us. My daughter is severely autistic so we have to add padlocks to all of the windows and doors 😂😂. We use to have huge tent and lots of camping gear, that we were barely ever using. Over the years we’re getting less and less stuff with us and going smaller with everything. Our newest tent is 4 people instant cabin. No more wasting time on setting things up. We like to cuddle up anyways lol

Thanks for sharing this, sorry for the late reply. I also have autistic children and fully understand where you are coming from. I was the same once brought so much gear and for what used it once or I thought I might need it! but when not there did not notice either.

Wow! Well done for getting all that in the car, looking at buying a vango 600xl and couldn’t believe how big they are when packed! Thanks for the video it’s really helpful. Please consider unrolling the extension lead when it’s plugged in, they can over heat and be a fire hazard. 👍🏻

Thanks for your advice yes I do unroll this now. The tent is a lovely tent but yes a bit on the big side.
