Well ,he's still friend with Mason... Wright passed away, Syd too... When he was invited to play with PF at the Live-8 charity, he wanted to mend ties and return in PF, but since he still was with his authoritarian antiques, seems that Gilmour and Wright were not that eager to work with Roger again... I think that Roger's pr oblem comes from smoking too much pot and when you smoke too much pot, you're likely to become paranoid... He's also completely naive about geopolitics and, you know, he's of the bleeding hearts type, those who get tricked by mofo like PLO/Hamas who pose as victims of te havoc they created... In 1983, when still in PF ,he ranted about Brit interventions in the Falklands and about Thatcher. Well, if I agree with him that Thatcher was a despicable witch, the Brit intervention sealed the doom of the infamous Galtieri's junta in Argentina... He was already deluded 40 years ago... Now, it's sad since he's a talented songwriter, and he was good at spicing up the often too linear composing of Gilmour and Wright, but at the same time, Dave and Rick used to find much better ideas than him...
