What Do Mt. SAC Basic Fire Academy Cadets Go Through?

Mt. SAC Basic Fire Academy is a 16-week training that will give cadets all the certifications needed to be hired as a firefighter almost anywhere in the country. Cadets begin by learning to use ladders and hoses, up to the live fire training that culminates the academy, before testing for certifications begin.
