No, I don't rmember that. The Police have always been rotten to the core. In 1961 when I was nine, I spotted a purse in a telephone box. I took it to a nearby police station. The policeman on the desk treated me like a criminal. He asked if I had taken money out of the purse, even though there was money in it. As if I would take a purse in anyway, if I'd taken anything out of it. He kept accusing me of taking some money. He terrorised me. He obviously thought it was fun to terrorise a small, innocent child. Some of the officers on the beat also took pleasure in bullying any children they came across. One tried to grab little girls. The boys called him names and threw stones at him. Though there were some lovely officers also on the beat who used to chat with us, there were far too many who mis-used their position. It was obvious that many joined the force so they could have power over the people. Why people are so naive as to say things were so much better in the past, I have not the slightest idea. The past was never the paradise which some foolish people think it was.

Yes, I think those in powerful positions have no respect for the ordinary people of England nor the sacrifices their ancestors made , their loyalty to king & country, the dire poverty they endured throughout history.... It was in recognition of this that the Government set up the NHS & State education system had been developed??? The aristocrats of ancient the class system used & abused the lower orders . That same mindset meets out 2 tier treatments in policing, the knee for those who they fear & the full riot squad for those they can squash down. Shame on the politicians & police , the so called leaders.

The same thing happened in South Africa in the 1970s. An ethnic minority government violently oppressed the majority - in 1976 a relatively peaceful demonstration about language in schools turned into a bloodbath. Uncontrollable civil unrest followed. I wonder what will spark the majority population to rise up against their oppressors in England?

Ideologically, yes, Physiologically, no. The police have been so busy recruiting women, fatties and puny gays to their freak show that they can't handle a really determined and angry mob. They'll cut and run, or indeed even mince off back to the sty. They'll seek comfort in the trough whilst hoping the crowd will disperse itself. This is Britain's biggest beacon of hope. This is not the force of big, tough guys who took on the miners. Luckily, this lot are an altogether lower breed of swine.

The last time I was in the UK was 2008 - people were so scared of openly discussing immigration when it was obviously changing the UK - And I thought - It was such a dangerous and sad thing. - When you can't openly discuss the issue of immigration without the accusation of racism - I had been away from my home town in Kent since the 1990s and it had drastically changed - Ive lived abroad for a long time and every other country can have a sense of national pride... except the country I am from..... Put it this way - An indian eats Indian food in London - A Polish person eats Polish food in London and they are celebrating their unique culture and heritage - BUT if a Brit goes abroad and has fish and chips they are bigotted... My observation about this is that the media seem to want to paint all English patriots as low-educated working-class people who are bigotted - They never interview anyone who is middle class who is a patriot and questions immigration- and it creates an identity and stereotype to be ignored. .

Initially I’d look at the mayor of London - after all, English people waving English flags aren’t likely to vote for him for starters. The rest of the responsibility lies imo with the British people as a whole. While mainstream anti-English politicians keep getting voted in, who will willingly turn a blind eye to this, then the situation will continue and deteriorate even further. London is lost, but the rest of the country still may be salvageable
