I'm German and drove to Poland by bus this year to visit a friend in Wroclaw. My first impression of Polish people was a guy on the bus offering me his pillow after he saw that I was trying to sleep and he kept translating what the bus driver said for me 😂 i've found that polish people are incredibly nice and hospitable and i fell in love with this beautiful country and pierogi :P OUr countries all live in peace and friendship with each other forever :)♥

U Know History. This situation made Government . many battles separated us, still dividing us. but we are good people and we want to forgive, and the Poles really want the future to be better for Poland and Germany. It's all politicians' fault, this hatred. These bad moods. When people are divided, it's easier to control. proof of the fact that it is the fault of Polityka, for example, that hatred for Germany has only Polish teenagers. everybody knows that, children, teenagers can influence and control more easily

@@kamil.7135 Things in the past escalated in a way I personally can't understand. I, for myself, want to look forward, especially in a time where poles and germans should learn from the past and make a stronger bond so something like this will never happen again. Many Germans have polish roots and there are also poles with German roots. You are right, it's always about politics. But maybe, some day, I will have children with the polish woman I love and there won't be bad blood for them. We will do our best. I also really like her family, especially her brother. We are so similar that we could be actual brothers. Sometimes we drink and play Mario Kart or play Dart (even if he always wins x]) and he tried to teach me to play piano. I feel like a part of the family. Btw. I just went to Mallorca a few weeks ago for the first time :) it was really cool, even if I was shocked at first how many Germans there are. Actually it feels more German than Germany in some areas since most migrants (except the very integrated ones) would never set a foot into the "German" areas of Mallorca. Many non-european migrants despise us, even if they are living in our country :| I wish you all well! And I hope you can make more people understand your views. Remember, though, that once you get used to Polish orthography (not hard at all), you can know how to read/pronounce any word you encounter. I practice pronunciation and internalize grammar by listening to music, memorizing lyrics and reciting them. Do this for a while, make it fun, and before long you'll be surprised at your progress. WOW, I watched this vid and was highly impressed with it, the approach, people(s), opinions, positive outlook, etc. I watched it from a different eye and there is a crystal clear message (for the most part) being sent and hopefully some (if not all) people see it from my eyes. Let me start by saying that I lived and worked in Warsaw for 2 years in the mid 1990's. I was born in a major metropolitan city here in the US. I traveled throughout Europe while I was there, all over the entire country of Poland, as well as much of continental Europe. Every so many years, I returned to Poland for a week to briefly visit people who I met. I enjoyed my stay there, but saw that the capital, literally exploded with positive change like no other city - it was very fast and quick. I do recall moments when "Germans" and "Russians" were brought up in conversation back then and it was an even 50/50 split from Polish about Germans and the results of Russians..well..you know.. One thing as a Foreigner I felt in Europe was the impact of certain countries having more "solidarity as a people overall" and others where regionalisms were evidently present and still living, even for me as the usual "dumb american." Within today's present borders of Poland, I felt almost no difference in Polish people from the Center, East, West, and South - except for a very small group of people who spoke a funky cool language, like a hybrid Polish-German that was neither Polish, nor German - it was like their own code. I really wanted to hear it and the people at that time, all of us much younger, were laughing like I was a freak (or maybe at me), because they considered themselves Polish. I understood that, 100% and I never thought otherwise, but they finally spoke this language and it was super interesting to hear. I really like dialects, esp the ones that are dying out = please keep the alive to everyone in Europe. Now I move onto Germany. For me, Germany is much different in the sense that when I went from the north, east, west, and south, I could feel strong differences within the county...it was like I felt pijany (sorry, my polish sucks) , in the southern regions, some west, and some far regions in the east as well. The accent (and what might be other languages) even in German, or the way english was spoken, the people might have been separate countries. My mother is of Italian origin and my father is of German origin. I only, crapply so, speak a rough dialect of Italian. For me, Italy is very similar to Germany, it is very regional from north to south, north-west to north-east, etc. Ok, I rambled on, but there was a point to this.Over the years, though not recently, I returned to Poland, every other year for about a week at a time. The capital seemed to move at a rapid rate, that I have never witnessed here at home. Roll back time, the former East Germany, was VERY rough (even though a United Country), but was very far behind from Poland at that time. While I was in Warsaw, I felt there was a sense of Liberalism, Freedom, Tollerism, Self-Thought/Opinion(s) that were well expressed with understanding & intelligence in public (leaving the church = in the church = for that one hour of dedicated church time, and leaving everything in the church when exiting the doors). What I found over time was the complete downfall, everytime I visited Poland. Economically, it was running like a tiger, yet the Polish "persona" I spoke of above, was going away every time I visited, and always declining . On the flip side, the former East Germany was a hell hole at that time, the people were VERY rough, though I never established anything there for obvious reasons. In conclusion, both former East Germany and Poland had a shitty last 50 years or so, I completely agree...it must be like a kid being held back a grade or two. What I do see, is that Poland and the Former EG, have made massive strides and both places should be proud of yourselves. I loved the video and I watched it through different eyes, than most. When I saw the comments below on this, it was like a setback. Most (not all) were merely taking swipes at each other and NONE of you (most likely) were never around at that time. I can imagine the pain of the students I had while living over there that was passed onto them through the elders, but just guessing, those elders are all dead and maybe some of my students are your parents. Conclusion: Poland & Germany....DROP THE SHIT ATTITUDES. You are a new generation of people and while the past should not be forgotten, bury the hatchet. It only drags everything downwards and no future for the generations to come. Both of you have borders that are very important (lol...now you see I am the "dumb american" and the we think), your cultures are rather similar, etc. Stay who you are and forget the damn border and past.....you are both very good people and have old cultures that have crossed borders within ancient history = mixed people. I hope this message was conveyed in a positive way as that was my intent. If you took this as an insult, I did not intentionally do it. Remember, I am not speaking your languages and I apologize for it. Prelude (after reading above) You: Tilting your head and scratching it.......thinking "This dumb ass shit head american trying to lecture us"? Me: In my head: "I totally understand all of the doubts you have and not testing your train of thought". You: What (WTF)?????? Me: Look at our upstanding, highly intelligent, tolerant, progressive, mentally component, compassionate President we have? Finale: Me: Do not emanate what we have now here in the states - total rollback...right? Do not always follow the past as it can be lethal for everyone. You share many good things in common. Do not bitch slap each other, nor shit in your own backyards. Keep it all positive as much as possible for each other. Love you both Poland and Germany 👍😘✨💕 P.S. Thank you again Easy Languages....your work aside from the language(s) along with the message(s) you are sending, are viewed and appreciated around the world. 💪🙏

I understand why many polish people still despise us(german here), would be the same the other way around. Don't know how many years more it'll take , but lets hope it mends, Polish people work hard, fight hard, and drink hard, makes them people I like

I would say Berlin is big on the nightlife, but Krakau is probably nicer looking in its city center, because their old town has been well upkept. Berlin has nicer parts but a lot of it can be considered ugly, but the matter is very subjective and depends from person to person.

However, Poles resent the Germans for everything they have done wrong.

i am a mongolian citizen and i grew up in berlin. i was once attacked by a polish citizen in the subway, just because i was different. he kicked me in the head, and i was for a few seconds unconscious. luckily we have some surveillance in our U-Bahn (underground rail system). later i learned from the police, that the polisch guy was really drunk. i dont know what to make of that. he was prosecuted eventually, but at that time he fled the country, probably to poland. i have visited poland many times (gdansk, warsaw and katowice) and i always had a pleasent trip. the people there were always nice to me. i dont know what to say to make it all right. i know you have your 0 (Zero) policy. but maybe dont attack asian-looking people in other countries. that is not how you make friends.
