Turkish Cypriots, who are not illegal settlers from Turkey, are EU citizens and have EU passports and equal rights no matter where they live (Turkish or Greek part of the island), so all these things don't affect them at all. The problem is with the Turkish citizens who were illegally sent from Turkey to settle on the island. Actually, Turkey's move to bring all these settlers from Turkey all these years is not only illegal, but is considered a war crime according to the International Criminal Court.

You have equal rights as the Greek Cypriots and other EU citizens (that's why for example, Turkish Cypriots can travel, live and work in EU countries without visa, checks and special permits, something that Turks and other non-EU citizens can't or can go to other non-EU countries with the status of EU citizen which makes the travels and checks easier). Many Turkish-Cypriots work in the Greek part of the island, they can vote in the elections, they get paid by the Cyprus state in euros, etc. The problem is the Turkish citizens which have moved illegally by Turkey to the island and are not considered Cypriots.

EOKA is also considered as terrorists by UK as well and even Greece admitted several times EOKA-B is a terrorist organization but refused EOKA was same!! Same people formed both EOKA and EOKA-B but EOKA was against British occupation of the island, after they became independent in 1960 the group changed it's goals and started to target Turkish Cypriots while aiming an unification with Greece so there wasn't a real difference between EOKA and EOKA-B which both supported and armed by Greece. After their coup in 1974 and targeting of Turkish Cypriots Turkey worked 6 days for a peaceful solution then invaded northern part of the island which caused the collapse of EOKA government. But NONE of those terrorists were arrested nor faced any charges even if they even targeted some Greek Cypriots who were against their enosis ideology which is why Turkey didn't leave the island and demanded an agreement protecting Turkish Cypriots and their rights. In 2004 such an agrement got offered from UN called Annan plan and Turkish ''invasion'' side accepted it by 65% while Greek side refused it 75% claiming an UN PLAN was ''unfair'' so the island remained as divided!! While EU etc still supports an unification plan even if it was Greek side which refused it then they will offer less rights for Turkish Cypriots for making the agreement ''fair'' which is why Turkey refuses it...
