What do we do during Winter at the farm dog daycare?

We have a NEW Winter are with a heated magnesium pool. The pool is set to a warm 32 degrees Celsius perfect for canine hydro therapy. This pool is used during the cooler months and used at the end of the day for muscle recovery.
Also known as mineral pools, magnesium pools are swimming pools that have added minerals in the pool water. Of all the minerals that may be included, the main ingredient is magnesium chloride.
Magnesium chloride is a naturally occurring compound of magnesium (a mineral) and chloride (an electrolyte), found in seawater and brine. This very special compound is also said to be absorbed through your skin, offering a range of health benefits.
Not only does the magnesium pool offer health benefits, but mineral or magnesium pools also claim to offer a superior swimming experience. The water is said to be clearer, have a silky smooth feel, and is gentler on the skin and eyes - particularly beneficial for people with skin ailments, like psoriasis or eczema.

The Royal Marsden Hospital is near where I live in the UK. When I was 19, a long time ago. I had a friend who worked in the labs there. He was allowed to use the therapy pool at certain times. Four of us used to go there in the winter, with snow outside. It was fab because it was so warm. It was also foggy, obviously inside, not outdoors in the UK. It was such a laugh because we could hardly see each other!

The dogs are totally enjoying the new pool and outdoor area. Magnesium is well known for helping muscle cramps, and is a treatment used by many (including me) for treatment of Restless Leg Syndrome. Love seeing everyone having such a great time. For sweet old Charlie..XOXO

Each dog attends the farm regularly. We get to know which dog attends on which day. We love them all to pieces and get to know each dog and their amazing personalities. Dogs don't have to go into the water if they don't want to, but we do make sure everyone has fun!

The pool has a gas heater.........it chews through a huge amount of gas each week.......there are other videos that explain the heating system and how much gas it uses.
