Young family trying to make it work in Thailand. It's not an easy task... We will share the challenges... the up's and down's...
If you have any questions I'm probably not the best person to give you solid advice but I will answer to the best of my knowledge and anything I share i've normally heard from a thai or a well established foreigner so isn't always 100% correct.

Quite often Thai villagers go to Korea or other countries to work. Usually there's an agent who organises the job and travel trip. Also the job seekers have to pay the agent a lot of money to organise job and trip. Sometimes they get to the airport and there's no trip at all, its quite often a scam.

Yeah, I've certainly heard that before! He actually worked in new Zealand for a while earning good money but the drink etc ruined it I believe that's a big reason they visited the monk. Thanks for watching appreciate it

Absolutely love the first time go at the welding dude, proper Isaan style 😅 Have a look at a solar pump for the borehole mate. Free power and you'll probably only need it in the daytime. If you go for that get the guys that dig it to install the solar setup if they can and get an all in one price. 100% planning to have a pond at my place, solar off grid, fish for protine, rice for carbs, veggies and various fruit trees. I want a safe haven with everything I need for me and mine when the world goes to 💩 again which no doubt it will. Want to be as far away from a city as possible.

It was a interesting experience would be good to get a proper mask though and learn how to actually do a clean weld haha! I did mention that and was told don't someone will just steal it! better off buying a petrol pump or a dak dak handheld tractor for it. Nice mate! Your pond will fill up by groundwater. You would be able to see how low it goes by the other pond in the dry season. It will be muddy unless you use plants to clear the water. A bore could be a waste of money but you will have a full pond all year.

We have a massive pond , we where growing Koi and selling be now just Tilapia . You should split half Tilapia half cat fish .

Everything is worth money in Thailand, if your digging a deep pond and not using the removed soil yourself, then you should be getting paid per truck load for every load that is taken away as it is worth a lot of money when sold to people raising their land to build a new house, contractors will dig for free just to sell the dirt if there is enough of it

@@lifeinisan Probably to do with minerals leeching from the underlaying bedrock, you don't have to be close to the sea, you can probably have a Geotechnical survey done quite cheaply to determine the best depth to sink your well instead of shooting in the dark

The industry of bagging a western husband will never die out as long as farang keep going to Thailand looking to buy a wife , in isan they taught from a young age to find a farang husband sponsor for future security , I work here in the gemstone business for last 12 years the amount of guys who come here to buy a wife is bonkers 😂

I understand that point of view but also believe there are so many hard working individuals who wouldn't even be interested in a farang. My partner works harder than me from doing her own business to being a part of mine and being a rock for our child pretty impressive if you ask me. I tell you something true affluent educated Thai girls from well respected Thai families never marry farang they marry Thai men of the same social standings facts ,99% of Thai girls who marry farang are poor and uneducated from low social standings in Thai society basically the lowest in Thai society,that’s why you see huge amounts of isaan girls hooking up with western men I am not saying its wrong but the reality its for the obvious reasons and are based on financial reasons and gains ,the affluent educated Thais want no part of the western man ,I work with rich Thai girls and men on regular basis and we always chat about this subject ,that these less fortunate girls must marry farang for they future etc ,its not about love its about money
