Beyond the answer.
The Senior School years contain some of the most crucial decisions for our children’s future. It is the time when they need to find themselves and find their direction in life. Sometimes parents ask a simple question, “What would you like to do when you grow up?” This question is asked all the time, but the answer may not be so simple.
We would like to invite you to hear the conversation between seven students from King’s Bangkok Senior School. Listen to their passions, inspirations, ‘Eureka’ moments, unique dreams and stories about their quest to find the answer to the question “What do you want to be when you grow up?”.
Even if the students have to find their ‘own answer’, it doesn’t mean that they have to do it alone. For everyone at King’s Bangkok, what is more important than the answer is the learning process; the way we can all support our students, the way we can help find the answers together.
สำหรับเด็กหลายๆ คน ช่วงมัธยม คือช่วงเวลาสำคัญในชีวิตที่จะค้นหาตัวเอง และเตรียมตัวเลือกเส้นทางในอนาคต กับคำถามที่พ่อแม่และผู้ใหญ่มักถามพวกเขาว่า ‘โตขึ้น คุณอยากเป็นอะไร ?’ ที่เป็นคำถามง่ายๆ แต่ท้าทาย
คิงส์คอลเลจกรุงเทพ ขอเชิญพ่อแม่และเด็กทุกคนที่กำลังค้นหาตัวเอง มารับฟังเรื่องราวความมุ่งมั่น แรงบันดาลใจ ตลอดจนการค้นพบบนเส้นทางในการค้นหาตัวเอง ผ่านการพูดคุยแลกเปลี่ยน ของเด็กนักเรียนมัธยม 7 คนที่ต่างคน ต่างความฝัน มีเส้นทางที่ไม่เหมือนกัน แต่ได้ค้นพบคำตอบของคำถาม ‘โตขึ้นอยากเป็นอะไร’ เหมือนกันในหนังสารคดีเรื่องนี้
แม้ว่าคำถามที่ว่า ‘โตขึ้น คุณอยากเป็นอะไร’ คือสิ่งที่พวกเขาต้องครุ่นคิดหาคำตอบที่เป็นของเขา แต่ทุกคนที่โรงเรียนนี้เชื่อว่า พวกเขาไม่จำเป็นต้องหาคำตอบด้วยตัวเอง เพราะสิ่งที่สำคัญกว่าคำตอบ อยู่ที่ระหว่างทางของกระบวนการเรียนรู้ การดูแล และสนับสนุนอย่างเข้าใจ เพื่อร่วมหาคำตอบไปกับพวกเขา
