It is probably not the responsibility you don't like, but the loss of your Freedom. That is what I am finding. My Freedom is the thing I value the most. I base most of my decisions on my ability to be Free.

It's a brilliant question to ask. Though I don't think I would like to live the type of lifestyle you live I have just realised how much I have suppressed my opinions in fear of others and I actually feel it has caused me anxiety. I recorded myself discussing my problems last night and how I feel about them and as a result feel less stressed this morning despite not sleeping too well.

December is the hardest bill month for me. Not because of the holidays but the House Insurance and water bill and Wisconsin Heating bill all smack me at once
@RogueAPBT
@RogueAPBT 5 жыл бұрын
You can do a sink fund for big bills like that, where you save all year long. If a bill is due once every year, take the total (or best guess) and divide by 12, put away that amount each month, or divide the total by how many paydays there are in the year, and put that amount away each payday. I just started being able to do that this past year, and it definitely takes a lot of stress out of paying those big bills, since the bulk of it is already in the bank when the bill comes due. Some bills, too, you can ask to have the due date changed to a different time of year, so you're not getting hit all at once, so that may be another way to solve that issue. Good luck!

Great video Tim! I like the way you described that for some people it takes a long time to really figure it out and you really can spend a lifetime asking this question, because I feel that's the group that I'm in. I think about it a lot very deeply but the answers aren't always so vividly clear unlike some people they know exactly what they want to do right from the get go...The good news is I think that clarity is starting to shine through thanks to people like you. Thank you Tim!

100 agree. Hate bills.. I traveled always. Owned a few nice homes. Still don't like bills. Owned my last 2 family homes in ful because don't want to pay mortgage interest. l. I am so tired of bills I sold my family homes during Covid 💰. I'm over the bills. House vs. Easy life travel ..... No brainer for me either. By by bills 😁. I will own another homebase (house) but in smaller scale completely off grid away from people..I can see people when I travel.. Great advice. Nomadic lifestyle 👍

Well I was going to he a horse trainer. Well I fell in love and got pregnant. We got married and he became a raging alcoholic. I worked as a admitting clerk. We got divorced I put myself through college and became an RN. I got married again had another kid. 2nd married to an abusive person and divorced again. So my mortgage was cheap and I made enough to work less. So yeah I gave up my dream to train horses. Now I am 55 yrs old and not happy.

Colorado looks beautiful. I love the snow. But, I also would love to live in or near a small beach community. But, it is so expensive. Any suggestions??
@TimothyWard
@TimothyWard 5 жыл бұрын
I think there are some beach communities out there near less popular beaches that aren't as expensive. I know down in Florida once you get away from all the real touristy beaches you can find some affordable beach communities but you have to do your research and find them. Living near the beach for a time is one of my goals too. I love the mountains but I think a little sun and surf would be a nice change one day :)

What about vacation cabins and the like? My boss owns a couple of lake cabins, and they use them maybe a few times a year. All around them are places that are also empty most of the time, and a surprising number are just abandoned because the owner died and the family that inherited live in another state, or don't have time to keep it up, or can't afford to keep it up. I was thinking that when I finish my current gig, I might look into trading my skills doing repairs/remodel and upkeep of the grounds for either rent free cabin living or a parking spot for a tiny house or something. My boss thinks it wouldn't be hard to find people who would jump at the chance to have somebody responsible and capable to stay in these types of places to keep them up during the times they are sitting idle. I'm with you on the beach thing, too...snorkeling all day!
