Thanks for inviting that young man to sit down for a meal, when we visit relatives in Colombia, we do the same thing. There are so many people going over into Colombia from Venezuela for a better life, and something as simple as buying them a meal really helps them out. There was a period of time where it was the other way around, where struggling Colombians left for a better life in Venezuela. This was never forgotten and Colombians are more than happy to repay the favor.

I visited Bogota and Medellin in October 2019 but spent more time in Medellin, as much as i really love the city, the weather and its people. I left Medellin with heavy heart after witnessing the poverty. I witnessed 16 year olds girls engaging in prostitution at parque Lleras. I know it's easy said than done but I wish there's a sustainable sulotion to this problem. I've sponsonred several Venezuelan families at the start of the pandemic for a few months but i also lost my job at some point because of the restrictions. Thanks for sharing your blessing. Nice of you to buy the young man a meal, my trip in Mexico I bought a few meals and helped the elderly. It doe's not hurt your wallet to help when someone is in need. I enjoyed the so called bad side of town, but then Los Angeles has just as dangerous and deadly areas. The art is amazing and the buildings beautiful and the people seem nice. I would be on edge and guard in the city, but that is life and travel in these areas of the world. Sad it costs $10 dollars for a woman in the red light district, this is very sad straight up man. the food looks great and all the carts and what you have eaten looked so good. Nice video and educational about the real life struggle of the Columbian and Venezuela people who live their. Blessings to the people🙏🏽
