Hey Vinit! Thanks so much for enjoying the video! Truth be told, if you are at the beginning, you need to learn much of the same skills as a data analyst and data scientist. Simply start by laying a strong foundation with Statistics and Probability. Then learn some SQL. After that pick up a coding language that will help you analyze data. Once you have done that you can start working on data sets and engage with real-world examples that will help you do the kind of tasks that will be useful when you get hired by a company.

We advise you to 1) Start with an Introduction to the world of data science 2) Learn/refresh statistics concepts 3) Learn SQL and start practical exercises in SQL 4) Start to code in Python 5) Use SQL and Python to solve data visualization projects 6) Learn A/B testing 7) Learn linear and logistic regression and some fundamental ML concepts 8) Learn other ML algorithms and create projects 9) Learn data strategy and how data science helps businesses create value. So basically a data scientist has to be a jack of all trades and also a master of it all ( or something close to that) ? I mean being a genius is one thing , but realistically you have to be a super-genius to even handle this type of job.

It sounds like you have to be a genius, but you really don't. As you can see in the video - at the beginning it is about applying quick fixes to your product based on data exploration and hypothesis testing. More complex methods are needed only after you have performed significant optimizations.

No way. There are lots of data scientist (most self acclaimed) use certain libraries in Python or R for all scenarios they deal with. I've worked with many and believe me they are not that smart.
