Years ago my wife took one of our cats to the vet. Came home with the cat and 120 lb German Shepherd that was abandoned. He was about 6 years old and we had him for about 6 more years. Wonderful animal! They have a precious look when they look at something they don't understand.

You can see that she's clearly not scared of him, she even exposes her belly from time to time, but she also makes it clear that he is crossing some lines and she wants to play less roughly, that's a pretty cute and harmless interaction between the two, a learning process :)

My older cat would have given a good smack down and the other would be up high too. My oldest would also hold a grudge and have a go at the dog whenever he came near afterwards for quite a while, an example of how he can hold a grudge is that my mothers cat and dog would stay with us for anything as long as a week or at most a couple months while mum traveled. Her little dog was quite well tolerated but mums cat was a Birman and they are generally loud but this one was deaf and had the loudest meow I’ve ever heard and he would have regular spells of yelling at the top of his lungs for many minutes at a time. Because of his hearing he would walk around with a shaking head tilt. My cat hated him, and after a couple years of him visiting where I normally would pick him up from mums to bring him to our place, mum brought him over and my cat realised it was her fault he had to deal with him he not only stoped giving mum cuddles and kisses he would attack if she tried to pet him and prior to that mum was the only person he was really affectionate with besides me and my friend who was his kitty sitter if I had to go away. For 3 more years till mums kitty died Zac would continue to hold a grudge and even after mum stopped bringing him to stay up until mums death last year he would not let her pet him. I played a video for a friend of mums cat singing the song of his people when he woke up in the morning one time and my cat went nuts hissing and spitting that’s how deep his hate is lol

My kitten was only a couple months old when she learned how to jump from the floor, to the kitchen counter, jump up to the top of the fridge and then from there, jump up to the space in between the top of our cabinets and the ceiling. This is where she would just hang out from time to time. Not to mention, cats will use anything other than the things you buy for them. I bought my kitten a lot of toys, yet she found an aluminum foil ball and the hangers in my closet a lot more fun than her actual cat toys. In addition to this, my family bought several nice scratching posts for my family’s cat and taught him how to use them, but he instead decided that the nice chairs for decoration were a better alternative for his nails.

Dogs in general. My parents got a black lab mutt puppy, and she is loveable and playful and has no idea that the size difference between her and the cat is already enough that he can't always play as rough as she wants to. No one's been hurt as far as I know, but the concepts of "personal space" and "not interested" are ones she's still working on.

Lol u do realise shes aware she would be molested and murdered in a millisecond haha my cat would hiss at a lion but it makes no difference she would still be cat food in 10 seconds flat as would this cat from a german Shepard that are used as attack dogs by the police, dont be fooled by a nice demeanor from a lovely dog because hes still the boss hes just playing with her.

I don't allow my german shepherd to tease our cats this much. And, she learned to be more gentle with them and respects them.

I totally agree with you, it rather looks like the dog is almost torturing the poor cat, which I think is more like grown kitten, or a young adult cat, I really feel very sorry for the kitty :(((

I feel like as humans we shouldnt interfere unless it could hurt one of them. Most times cats are fully able to defend themselfes against a dog that just wants to play

i had a cat and a german shepherd... the cat will 'teach' the dog when she's absolutely had enough. The cat KNOWS it's not in any danger or this video wouldn't exist... and neither would one of the dog's eyes.

Bless him, he's trying to "de-flea" the kitten. My shepherd, Woof, used to do the same to my cats. They were full grown and LOVED it when he "did" their backs for them.
