And language barriers are overcome. Like with the tail: Dogs whip their tails around when they're happy, cats understand it as being hostile. But if they grow up with dogs as kittens for example, cats eventually learn to understand the dog language.

As a lifelong cat person, I can tell you that the neighbor's cat wants to sleep there precisely BECAUSE of your two sweet dogs. It means she feels very very safe around them, likes the scent of them, and she is putting HER scent onto their bed and therefore on the them. She's doing THAT because she's telling the World "they are part of My Family, treat them accordingly." Cats feel at their most vulnerable when asleep. So the dogs not only don't worry her at all, their presence is making her not worry about falling asleep there, she feels protected and happy.. It is all very sweet.

You can see the kitten either lives with dogs, or grew up with dogs at some point, because she doesn't seem uncomfortable around them. Otherwise, barring any character traits to the contrary, she would be scared.

Tiger reacted surprisingly well to the presence of the kitty. So calm. He's such a good boy! Anyone watching this video would have to concede that the idea of cats and dogs being natural enemies is largely a myth. Tiger and the kitty seemed fine with each other. Is the kitty a new addition to the family? It should be interesting to see Nala's reaction to the kitty when she comes home.
